If there's an ootv thread they probably love Sylvia for being historically mega attainable (lol nelson)

I'd definitely take it down but Ashleys ass is legit u don't need to look at her face much

And it's not like Sylvia face is any good

Ughh.. I watched highlights of the Avery v Nia fight Tuesday night (it randomly popped up on my youtube) and I was wondering the same thing. She is an elite competitor and she is a babe.

Meh I'll cop up and say that Sylvia isn't terrible looking, she's just out of shape compared to the rest of the female crew on this cast. She's celebrity below avg and regular girl "meh she's kinda cute". But yeah, when 3 girls on the season have been professional models she doesn't stack up obviously.

I was gonna say Ashley K hasn't been with Bruno so that is a + in her favor, but then I remembered I read somewhere that they have dated too.

His homeless shtick seems to be working well.

The amount of money MTV makes off of this show without paying the cast members is incredible.

Must be nice to have a show with low production costs and not have to pay the talent.

They do pay them.

Also haven't the ratings been atrocious lately? I doubt MTV makes that much given the production costs.

Especially compared to something like AYTO that costs them nothing.

Last year it was their highest rated show doing a .5 in the 18-49 demo. I haven't seen this year's ratings yet, but I assume they are comparable.

Two weeks ago had a .8 or .9. They spiked when the champs returned.

I always figured they could just do the show in the US for less $.

It isn't like they really need to be in thailand or brazil.

Renting the mansion and other production costs are probably lower in some of these countries.

Not to mention the exotic locations really differentiate it from the shittier RW houses

Production costs have to be a decent amount considering how they build a bunch of random **** for challenges, they rent out a mansion for a couple months + wherever the crew stays & flights to location, second location & back home.

Any guesses on how much challengers make excluding prizes? Everyone gets the same amount for an appearances for do you get a daily pay rate?

its been talked about before. someone the tier of bananas gets like 50K for showing up. some complete nobody is a few thousand to show up.

The vets get a lot more, especially Bannans/CT who are pretty much essential to the show now.

Not sure how much they actually get though. edit: You really think Bannans/CT get 50k? I know on No Quitters Kenny/Evan said Nany gets a years salary but she could've been exaggerating and a years salary for Nany probably isn't that much either.

Rookies/no names prob only get like 3-4k I'd guess.

They probably told Bruno his payment was getting to sit next to Jenna on the plane. Be thankful for that.

Or they said he'd get free "shelter".

Most of the cast members who have actual value are too dumb to realize it so they probably get raked over the coals in salary offers

Due to everyone else switching to DST this comes on an hour earlier for us starting tonight which is a big

For reference, I thought Evan or Kenny said on the No Quitters podcast that BANNANS gets $65K for showing up. I got the impression that everyone else's take was MUCH lower, including CT and the other veterans. CT is a part-timer by comparison so presumably doesn't rely on these as a primary income stream so am guessing his take is less or he'd be more inclined to show up.

Also, last week's interview with Kiki was good. Just like Nicole (Nany's cousin, not the current ******ed version), someone that I figured for an idiot came off surprisingly smart and likeable when interviewed. She and everyone else took many swipes at Sylvia's lack of fitness to where I almost felt bad for her. butnahhhhh.

Tonight should be the best ep of the season with it being a champs elim but its prob like 80% to cliffhanger the elimination.

Unfortunately I suspect that's 20% too low.
