I wouldn't as it would be like Hatton vs Pacquiao. Khan would be knocked out within 6 rounds imo

Yeah but it wouldn't be one of those ktfo one shot and you're done types. He'd go down at least twice beforehand, look as wobbly-legged as he did against Garcia and get absolutely destroyed.

If Khan fights GGG, ref should just immediately stop the fight once Khan goes down because there's no coming back from that.

Listening to Oscar and Canelo's camp just completely dodge a commitment to fighting Golovkin in the fall is pretty hilarious.

Terms like "super fight" "definitely next few years" "build up like Floyd-Manny" being thrown around. Pathetic. I hope Canelo overrules them. I'm pretty sure they didn't want him fighting Lara either.

Sturm was just handed a pretty bad hometown decision against Chudinov. Most people had Chudinov winning by 3 rounds minimum but Sturm wins it by MD.

Thurman/Porter fight off after Thurman gets in a car accident.

Sucks, hopefully it's back on within a month or two.

Frampton Quigg coming right up! Why aren't you brits going nuts? This is like Cleverly vs Bellew, if they were better, more aggressive fighters

I may have missed it but they really haven't pushed Quigg vs Frampton as hard on Sky as I thought they might. I'm not sure if they have enough confidence that the Irish PPV numbers will be what makes the fight a commercial success or what. It's quite surprising.

PPV numbers will be interesting as there's no real undercard fights of note. I wonder how many of the casuals will buy it?

It's one of those rare occasions for me where the person I think wins the fight (Quigg) is market underdog so I'll probably have to bet it.

I think Frampton will win and probably quite convincingly too.... probably due to the occasion getting to Quigg a little too much.

I think i would like Quigg to win though ... i like Quigg as a person, he gets mocked too much for seemingly being not that bright but hes just a guy thats not all that interesting but loves his boxing and not much else !

The only downside on Quigg winning would be the fact that Hearn and Joe Gallagher would be even more unbearable

You'll get to see Burnett on the under card, ****hot prospect who may be better than 2 main fighters.

I don't see how Frampton doesn't win Sat night.

I watched Burnett's last fight, a highly unimpressive UD against a completely shot Jason Booth.

I know his trainer Adam booth raves about the lad though.

frampton's last performance was pretty crap too

it happens though

anyway i'm excited for the fight and really glad it is on in the U.S.

if i was gonna bet i might be tempted to do the "frampton wins despite knockdown" bet. i think quigg has one knockdown in him at least

Thanks to reading this comment elsewhere, I'm right behind Frampton.

Frampton needs to win.

I can't be f****d to pay £15 to watch Rigondeaux vs Quigg after and watch a load of Matchroom fighers against punchbags on the undercard.

Hasn't Rigo signed with Frank Warren? Maybe it's just Boxnation showing his fights, not sure.

Having watched the build up to Frampton Quigg I've developed a real dislike for Barry McGuigan, comes across a complete tosser who loves the smell of his own farts.

Took you long enough to come to that conclusion Consty.

Never shuts up about himself, worst manager/promoter ever.

I met him once when I was a kid, when he was at the peak of his fame - understandably he wasn't all too interested, but it sort of backs up what has been said above.

I've always been fairly neutral on him and I'm the type of person who doesn't get irritated very easily.

He's starting to get on my tits though, full of self importance.

Agreed, although I'm not judging my views on Barry going by this fight's build up. I thought Gallagher was shocking and came across like a mug at the press conference where as Barry let Shane do the talking, whom came across quite well.

Frampton FTW
