Martin looked rubbish. No head movement at all.

Sky Sports announcers have always been notorious homers. Will never change.

AJ gets winner of Wilder/Povetkin late 2016/early 2017, right?

Haye would be a very good next step, although I'd probably take Haye's technique over Wilder and Haye/POV would be OK.

Re: that stoppage, zero issue with it. Martin wanted nothing to do with AJ.

I've watched it several times, I agree. I actually think it was done on purpose by Martin. He knew the next time he got up he would probably be KO'd.

Well done Joshua. Martin was wide open and just walked into that.

Martin did the ole "wait til the ref hits 10 then pretend that I wanted to continue" lol.

Now that I watched it again, it looks that way to me. I take back my complaint.

Is it going to be worth the 10 minute walk to my local pub to watch pacman? ...I've very lazy, so thinking no..

I would watch any boxing if a pub showed it ten minutes from my house!

Anyway I look wrong as usual Abraham isn't really doing anything

Ramirez fought flawlessly. Abraham did what he always does really, turtle up and wait for an opening, usually with momentum coming forward. Ramirez had the side to side display for 12 full rounds and threw good combinations to keep Abraham honest and off balance, that was pretty nice to watch even if the fight was really uneventful.

What a day, Joshua, Valdez and Ramirez each face legitimate tests and clearly ace them.

Lol @ Atlas effect. I think it's at least as likely that Atlas makes Bradley worse as better, but most likely means nothing. Rios was even more of a dud vs Bradley as when Manny dominated him.

Same result as the last two fights, Bradley doesn't fight smart enough and Manny takes it with speed and skill? I didn't bet on this one, guess I could've gone with Manny based on odds though, I don't think the shoulder injury was much at all and I don't think either fighter is much different since the 2nd fight, so odds slightly favor betting Manny I think.

Calling Martin a legit test seems kinda wrong. Winning a vacant belt on an injury wasn't exactly the icing on a stellar resume.

Manny/Bradley III starting now in case anyone feels the need.

That's fair RT, but better than Whyte, and you can't name too many better tests for Joshua (the best four are pretty much fighting each other next in Wilder, Povetkin, Fury and Wlad). Any time you face a top ten guy in your division and he's your best opponent yet that's a clear test I think though.

Would legitimately be interested in a Whyte vs. Martin fight (as the 4th fight down a card or something). Martin just didn't seem to want to be there, either because he realized he was outclassed or he just wasn't feeling it. I'll give AJ his credit, they put a guy in front of him and he beat him easily. All he can do really.

Either way, give him Haye or Wilder/Pov winner next, then we'll see where he's really at.
