I don't see Joshua doing it (though I could see Joshua KOing him). Fury has a shot if Wilder fights so poorly again. Otherwise, probably not, Usyk was such a good champ at CW, so he should at least be mentioned, but I'd imagine he gets smoked at some point too, until we see him fight someone solid at this level and negate their advantages.

Fury 100% beat Wilder already, but in a rematch i wouldn't touch him. He is too sloppy for me to think he'd make it 12 rounds.

Joshua should be a decent favourite. I think he'd KO Wilder since he has such poor defense.

Personally, I'd reckon on Fury V Wilder and Joshua V Wilder being close to 50:50. This is assuming that Joshua looks decent in his re-match.

I doubt we'd see the final bell with Joshua but he could easily stop Wilder imo.

It's not like Joshua has some stellar defense. Dude just got dropped 4 times in his last fight. If ref had given him more time to recover he probably would have gotten dropped a couple more times.

That's a little unfair. He got dropped, yeah, and he's absolutely vulnerable to getting floored by Wilder, but it's not like those 4 times happened in a vacuum. Once he got hit his equilibrium was shot and Ruiz capitalized. Successive KDs aren't exactly independent events.

Someone said it earlier but every Wilder fight (against a decent enough opp.) is basically "Can he find that right hand". If not, he's a decent dog to win because he's such a shitty boxer. If he can, got help the poor bastard on the receiving end of it. Fury was the outlier in that he pretty clearly won 9-10 rounds and lost because loljudges.

I'm not sure Joshua will ever be in a position to face Wilder in which case people can continue to speculate about it until the end of time.

Frampton winning pretty clearly but he is tiny I don’t see a move to 130 working out well for him at all

Ortiz/Joshua II to me just screams going as Lennox Lewis/Hasim Rahman II did. A huge underdog catching the superior fighter with a 1 punch knockout in the first fight, and the better fighter coming back and dominating the lesser fighter the second time around.

I saw Ortiz is coming into this fight weighing 20 pounds more than he did the first fight. He might have a heart attack in the ring.

Not making any predictions. I'm going for Ruiz but I can see a case for both but the odds on the last fight made no damn sense. I went back through predictions for that fight and a lot more boxers/trainers picked Ruiz to win that fight than you would have thought based on the odds and most that picked Joshua acknowledged that Ruiz was a very legit opponent. Hell, if it weren't for a bad hometown decision Ruiz would be the undefeated hw champion of the world right now.

Joshua to win on pts is the best bet. Ruiz is tough and Joshua will wear him down and pick up wide points victory.

i have no idea what to expect i'm just gonna sit back relax and enjoy the spectacle. not often i have no ****ing clue but i really don't here. gun to my head i think joshua knocking out ruiz pretty easily is a lot more likely than most seem to think imo...but i don't feel too confident with that prediction.

Embarrassing stuff from Joshua right now. Willing to win the fight on points and refusing to give us an entertaining fight. can’t wait for Wilder to murder him in the ring when that fight eventually does happen.

Maybe Ruiz should have lost some weight. Or at least not put on 15 pounds.

good for my boy Andy, dude got paid and that’s all that matters.

Joshua, on the other hand, is a joke. All of UK should be embarrassed by their champ.

Both of those guys are way better boxers than Wilder but they'd both get starched by him (though Ruiz would have more of a chance than Joshua).
