Yeah, I love GGG and think he's 1-0-1 against Canelo, but he needs to be done soon.

This is boxing, so fighters never retire until people stop paying them which means we probably have 4 more years of GGG fights to "look forward" to.

didnt even watch last night as it seemed pointless and a dumb fight but doesn't surprise me ggg looked mediocre given his age. i would watch 3rd fight of course but gotta favor canelo in his absolute prime. unpopular take but i would rather watch andrade v either for the unknown factor. it intrigues me. i know most are out on andrade and i don't blame people but i think its at least within the realm of possibility he has another level he hasn't had to show v all the bums he has fought and he could test both. GGG-Andrade in particular def intrigues me as an interesting fight

i hope canelo just moves up to 168 soon that division would be hot fire with potential matchups. i know there is a bunch of promoter bull**** that ****s us up as always wiht all the different beltholders but any trio of canelo/callum smith/david benavidez is a matchup i would pay for. i don't think caleb plant is on that level but hes interesting at least. ive fallen for hype before and been disappointed but i'm so in on david benavidez i think he has future p4p possibilities while also being somewhat vulnerable to getting into dumb firefights and possibly being knocked out by someone he shouldn't. all that being said i also realize he just went life and death with some guy named ronald gavril not long agoand i am prob putting to much stock into looking good against a clown like jleon love. still, i think in other sports we put so much stock in age and recognizing that being like league average in mlb or nba at age 20 or w/e is a sign of superstardom in the future, benavidez is only 22 and is going to be real real good IMO. we will see.him going up to 175 in a few years is also intriguing

btw speaking of 175 kovalev has been saying hes in negotiatons for a 4 man 175 tourney with all the beltholders. kovalev-beterbiev-bivol-gvodyzk would be soooo sick. has to happen soon given kovalev's age though, he won't stand a chance v those guys soon (and wouldn't be favored now i don't think). hard to see a tourney like that being too huge in america for obvious reasons but maybe they can get it done that would be a dream. kovalev still has 2 fights left with top rank and i think they have been promoting gvodyk too so at the very least that matchup really should happen. marcus browne, gilberto ramirez (lol god i hate him) lingering too with buatsi maybe in a few years...

as i type that i realize they will probably feed turdo ramirez a few bums and then make some stupid cinco de mayo or mexican independence day 2020 catchweight fight between him and canelo lol. jot that one down its coming

Meh, I scored the 2nd fight close and can't argue with a draw. I've rewatched it a couple times and there are a bunch of close rounds. I scored it 7-5 GGG when I watched it live I believe, but the popular opinion seemed to be 6-6 with a bunch of close rounds, so I'll go with that.

First one was clearly GGG, boxing just gonna box.

I think the second fight was closer than the first but i still think Golovkin won.
These are the media scores i found from a quick search.

On the other hand, there's plenty of people that think Fury vs Wilder actually was a draw, so what the hell do i know.

Dorticos-Tabiti
Glowaczki-Briedis
Galahad-Warrington

Hart-Barrera
Fury

Decent fights in the cruiser tourney today and in England...fury fight sucks but ESPN had like 4 hours of coverage yesterday night so interested to see the production. Barrera Hart could be fun

Dorticos Tabiti about going as expected so far pretty cagey but Dorticos looking like he’s gonna catch Tabiti and live up to his KO doctor nickname at some point

Better fight than I expected so far... two real competitive semifinals on paper gotta love the WBSS

Tabiti is holding too much and not moving side to side when close, he's either running when not within range or standing still against the ropes within range.

Dorticos was exposed badly against Gassiev, who was exposed badly by Usyk. Tabiti doesn't look properly prepared strategically to give Dorticos problems.

WBSS delivers lol.

It's fun to watch what would transpire in boxing if matchups were fought at legitimate "ballpark" difficulty.

It's over PartyGirl. But it was available free streaming on YT by the promoters. I'd watch it, all contenders. Briedis Glowacki in particular is worth the view.

Briedis retaliates against a rabbit punch with a malicious elbow to the jaw and gets a point taken away ...ref tells Glow to get up pretty quick doesn’t seem to give him much time to recover... breidis then knocks Glow down legitimately then he gets up but the bell rings but the ref isn’t stopping the fight the bell is ringing for like 8 seconds without the ref doing anything they keep fighting and Breidis knocking down Glow bad while the bell is ringing and round should have been over like 10 secs ago... he gets up they rest a minute then just throw bombs round 4 and Breidis brutally knocks out Glow

Also Breidis said postfight he heard the bell too lol. I don’t mecessarily blame him for that one it’s up to the ref to stop it. The elbow was pretty egregious tho

Def will be appealed

Um, no one cares about Fury v Schwartz? I don't know anything about these guys, but it's on ESPN+ so I'll give it a watch.

Sound and video aren't linked correctly. Ugh.
