Apparently Taylor's 3-dart average was never below 110 in the match, pretty amazing. He finished with 111.23. Lewis also with 105.92.

Unreal stuff from both and easily the best tournament ever standard wise from the quarters onwards.

It's a shame Taylor is such a prick because rooting against him is usually like rooting against the sun setting, a waste of time.

Even if you hate Taylor that has to be the kind of way you want to see him win.

Dunno what he done but James Wade has been banned for the next four tournaments must be pretty bad considering what old fatty gets upto? Can't find anything more though...

Quote:
Aldershot-born Wade, 30, was told about the decision following a Darts Regulation Authority hearing about his faulty conduct at recent Pro Tour events.

He had acted in a way during one of the games that could have injured or discredited the DRA. I could have also disrepute the game at the international platform of darts. This was the stance taken by the darts regulation authority that considered it an off event to witness.

Wade will be free to join the German Darts Masters in September however he will not be able to be a part of the coming four events taking place in the Sydney Masters, along with a European Tour and two players championship in Barnsley. Wade is a successful player and has won quite many tournaments. He has won six major PDC events. Last of his games was won in the UK Open in June 2011.

He

- swore repeatedly within range of cameras and microphones at the UK Open

- done a tv interview at the UK Open complaining/slagging off the organisation of it and threatening a future boycott of the event

- was drawn to play MVG in the first round of a UK Open qualifier and immediately left the arena saying "**** that", said he was ill.

I remember the interview I thought he made good points abojt the qualification system but it is what it is and he shouldnt get special co consideration if he does not play as many qualifiers

Unreal stuff from MVG, just the 104.47 average with double-in.

Gutsy performance from Lewis and while I don't like the guy Hamilton's finishing was pure quality.

Not sure if I want Nicholson to win a classic or Power to stomp him 3-0 (9-0)

Anyone else notice some afters between Anderson and Newton ?

Anderson did not seem to want to shake the guys hand after winning and was muttering something whilst Newton was giving him the eyeballs.

There was no friendly banter after the match at all.

Yeah.

Newton is a whingebag and a bit of a ****, especially when losing. It looked to me like he was taking exception to how much the crowd were on Anderson's side, hence his huge over celebrations on the way back to 2-2.

Anderson probably just thought Newton was being a prat.

I used to like Newton but over the last couple of years he's become easily my most disliked player. (outside of Taylor of course)
