How many Engllish managers(black or white) in the English prem btw?

What? 3? seems like opportunities are pretty limited no matter what colour your skin is.

The percentage of players is more but we also have plenty of imported players who will leave England after they finish their football careers. People deserve jobs on merit. Ruud Gullit, John Barnes and Paul Ince have all been given chances but have had varying levels of success. Chris Hughton and Chris Powell are currently managing and doing good jobs. The colour of skin is irrelevant and every so often we get articles suggesting that there is a race issue. Utter nonsense. The moment we start employing people because they are black, then we have a problem.

Why are you restricting it to one division ? There are 92 league clubs.

Good to see you on the anti-racist side. Now if only we could convince you that there are some racists working in football.

Percentage of black managers currently employed coincides with percentage of particular minority group within Country = I don't believe there are any racist people working in the game.

Considering this containment thread was designed because of you and your inability to understand any of my posts suggests this whole thread is a complete farce. I'm out.

Lol at the idea that there is a single racist in football and that includes the fans.

No he didn't. He said that there wasn't a race issue, which is something different.

Ironically things have to be spelled out in black and white for crocwoc.

He claimed there are no racist directors etc. involved in the hiring and firing of black managers. I am not sure why he makes this weird assertion given the paucity of black managers.

I'm not sure if he did or didn't say this, but it's completely ****ing different to saying that there are no racists working in football. Knock it off.

He called the suggestion "utter nonsense". He should "knock it off". It's very much the same thing. It's a denial of racism in football management and board rooms. Football appears to be riven with racism from the spectators, to the field, to the board room. That's why there are few black people to be seen (even in the stands) apart from on the pitch where merit cannot easily be denied by those of a racist persuasion.

It is not very much the same thing, stop putting words in other people's mouths.

A legitimate position until we have evidence to the contrary. Where's that evidence? Notice how citing "paucity" of black managers isn't even close to sufficient evidence for racism in the hiring process.

Of course it's sufficient. I refer you to the research of Dr Jamie Cleland and Ellis Cashmore if you want more detail.

Cmon guys its obvious now that cwocwoc is stone cold trolling.

He is genuinely trying to assert that saying no racism in management recruitment process is saying no racism in football as a totality.

Its going to far there and he has shown his hand and true agenda.

"More than 56% of those polled said there is racism at the top of football's hierarchy"

It looks you are in the minority of fans.

"Why aren't there more black football managers?"

FML I looked up there work, and of course it should come as no surprise that that Crocwoc is completely mistaken in referencing them here. They did a survey into fans perceptions of racism in football which of course ontologically provides no proof either way to the existence or non existence of racism at the boardroom level.

booo crocwoc booo.

You cant be for real, this does nothing, nothing, to refute my statements about your claim that saying no racism in board room = no racism in football as a whole.

Its an absolute indisputable truism that saying no racism in boardroom (a claim I actually disagree with) is not the same as saying no racism in football and this is patently obvious to everyone.

The only possible explanation for someone trying to argue the nonsensical is trolling.
