As for your question, I am not a ref, but I live close to a Holiday Inn Express, so I believe the answer is no.
I was really curious as to what the ruling would be as I initially thought there was no infraction so the goal is legit. There really isn't much to the handball rules part of FIFA's book but Walcott's goal appears to be fair and legal since there was no deliberate action to handle the ball into the goal.

Sky Sports News reporting that newcastle are to make an approach for Harry tomorrow - and they say he's possibly interested.

If that's true I hope he's just giving that impression whilst laying against himself on betfair, with no intention of leaving Pompey!

Disaster for Pompey if he goes, which would be a shame, the unit he has created out of top level just past its and top level nearly rans is a massive achievement.

Harry's felt for a long time that he's not had the recognition he's deserved, and not had the chance of managing a club with a big enough budget to prove how good he is.

Although at his age (If he was 10 years younger, it'd be a no brainer for him)and with his family home on the south coast near Portsmouth I initially thought he'd stay - but I guess a 4x salary increase and a £20-£30M transfer budget is gonna be tempting. If he did succeed up there (big club, not won a thing in over 50 years) it would give him just the attention/recognition he craves, and if it fails he'll just retire a bit richer.

I'm sure he's not taking the decision lightly giving the progress he's made with the team over the last 2 years and the real possibility of a top 6 finish just a few months away. I guess it's a gamble he'll decide to go for.

Rumours are the only stumbling block is his wife/family don't fancy it, supposedly he and the club are both keen though.

I haven't seen the goal, but any handball that results in a goal will be disallowed.

I hope he does. My least favourite manager by a long long way (although Souness if still in a job would be close). The most over-rated manager in England. Be good to see him fall on his face there.

But it wasn't a handball. The ball was played off his hand, but that doesn't necessarily mean it was a handball.

Anelka -> Chelsea = £15m

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...038866,00.html

Very disappointed, but I think most Bolton could have hoped for.

and reading are rejecting a 4.5M offer for stevie hunt.

who'd have thought that stevie hunt would be worth at least 5m? granting that he's totally old school and therefore awesome, but damn...

i agree. it's very good business for bolton as they can use that money to pick up two or three players to help them in their relegation fight(it'll be that way until they get 45 pts)

i'm travelling in SE asia, and pretty much the only sports on tv is english premier league. there's badminton as well, but i haven't been able to find any betting lines for it.

anyone like any of the lines for todays games? i think i'll put a couple bets down to make the games more interesting, because i'm not a huge fan, but it is entertaining. i'm trying to get into it.

Early kickoff going to be tough for me in Cali, it 4 hours from now and I normally dont go to bed until around now or so. I checked FSN, no replay. I am going to earn my stripes in Arsene Wenger's red and white army.

edit oh it looks like its on again tonight.

One thing that has not changed is Anelka’s astonishing capacity to generate money, both for himself and others, as Wenger noted wryly. The 28-year-old has been an agent’s dream since he fell out with Arsenal in the summer of 1999 over their refusal to match his wage demands, moving clubs almost every other year for a combined transfer fee of £87 million, making him the most expensive player in football history.

Yeah he's made a tonne of money over the years for his agent who just happens to be his brother definately at the expense of winning medals and trophies though.
