Newcastle deserved to get the point. Gotta be disappointed with both Gilberto and Eduardo. Both of them looked uninspired out there today.

Yup, all we had to do was play w/o Cesc, RVP, Hleb, and Flamini. Damn!

Still, 4 points over ManU, I'll take it!

Ronaldinho to the Chels in January?

I wish it would have printed the source.

I'd have to say I'm indifferent about this. I don't think we need another megastar with a huge ego on this team. It's hard to not want one of the "World XI" on your team, but it just seems like it's another Shevchenko or Ballack waiting to happen here.

Our last few matches have been rather boring, perhaps he can spice things up.

It always amazes me that the guys that are not-so subtle about wanting playing time completely fail when given the chance. Not only that, Eduardo seemed aloof and not in to it.

Over the last 6 weeks, arguably not the case at all. Bolton have one loss away at Amfield in that time. What about the Geordies?

Of course Newcastle had the harder schedule, but while they were losing to Reading, Bolton were drawing with hot teams like Aston Villa & Bayern Munich (in Munich no less)

Several of those Newcastle losses could have/should have been a lot worse as well.

Make excuses all you want Arse fans, you dropped the ball yesterday.

How the **** did we drop the ball? We played on the road and we were without 4 starters. Newcastle is a mid table team. Don't quite see how we dropped the ball at all. I would love to see how Chelsea play at St. James w/o Drogba, Lampard, Makele, and Joe Cole.

Uh oh, Drogba out at least a month. Looks like you clowns will have to get by w/o him until February.

I can't wait until we wreck your teams face in two weeks. Terry's getting blasted in the face again.

First off, Arsenal played Newcastle away.

Second, if you would like to check the current form guide, Newcastle over the last 5 games are actually bottom of the league I believe.

Newcastle were without Owen, Faye, Duff & Ameobi as well.

Finally I'm not sure how you can state that Newcastle had a harder run there than Bolton, lets rank the opposition in order

Bayern or Liverpool
Villa or Pompey
Braga or Blackburn
West Ham or Reading
Boro or Sunderland

Not only were Bolton's fixtures tougher, but they got more points from them, and had also rested a number of players for both waffa games.

first off, Boro>Sunderland is simply not true in any way. Secondly, West Ham is marginally better than Reading. Third, I do not think Braga is better than Blackburn, and finally I only consider Bayern slightly better than Pool.
