VDS, Cech, Friedel, I'd even put Tim Howard over him right now.

Go back and watch the Man Utd game and watch how terrible he was.

nope, but only cos she doesnt flap on crosses in regular time.

srsly, that just shows that he's a really good shot-stopper. I'm in my school 2nd XI, and im better at general handling than the guy above me but his overall abilities make him a much better goalie than i am on the whole. Same with VDS, cech, cudicini

It's too long. But then - all those who were writing our footballing obituaries back in January will have to wait at least another year. And we get to dream of what might be again next year. And, who knows, with a bit of luck and a couple of performances like the last Arsenal game we may be celebrating our second CL title in four years. Lots to look forward to.

You guys are so clueless it is simply not true.
Pepe Reina has won the Golden Glove last two seasons.
Other highlights from Wikipedia:

"[...]It was also a huge success personally for Reina as he notched up various new Liverpool records. On 3 December 2005 Reina kept his sixth consecutive clean sheet against Wigan Athletic F.C. in the Premier League to break the Liverpool club record for successive clean sheets in the Premiership era. He surpassed David James' record of five games from the 1996–97 season. Reina's incredible run ended at eight league games when Everton F.C.'s James Beattie headed past him into the Liverpool net in Liverpool's 3-1 win over their Merseyside rivals on 28 December 2005. Reina also broke Liverpool FC's consecutive clean sheet record with 11 consecuive stop outs between October and December 2005 with Mineiro of Sao Paolo finally scoring past him on 18 December 2005 during the FIFA Club World Cup Final."

"[...]As a result he holds a Liverpool record for the fewest number of goals conceded by a keeper in their first fifty games. The previous record was held by Ray Clemence in 1970–71 for conceding only 32 goals, while Pepe conceded only 29."

"In May 2006 Reina was awarded the Premier League's Golden Glove award for keeping 20 clean sheets in the 2005-06 season."

"Reina once again won the Premier League's Golden Glove Award for the second successive season after keeping 19 clean sheets in the 2006-07 Barclays Premier League campaign."

"On 2 February 2008, Reina became the quickest goalkeeper in Liverpool history to keep a half century of clean sheets. He hit the milestone during a 3-0 win against Sunderland on his 92nd league outing, beating the previous record by 3."

Edited to add: He has had 16 clean sheets this season so far, and I wouldnt be surprised if he made it to 19 again.

I'm a NUFC fan but not so sure about this. Not only has he not been that great since he got injured last season, the aggregate number of goals scored past us seems to remain fairly constant no matter who's in goals. Harper's been pretty damn good of late though, it would have been about 9-1 against Villa if it weren't for him.

It's amusing that some people are quick to make jokes about Arsenal's season when they actually exceeded expectations. 3rd in the EPL and last 8 of the CL are both better than the Gunners did last year. Pre-season, many pundits were wondering if they would fall out of Europe.

It wasn't a great season for sure, but it certainly wasn't the disaster that many non-Arsenal fans wish it were. I guess when your foreign coach stocks his side with foreign players for a fraction of the cost paid by his counterparts, resentment runs a little high.

Arsenal are still a very young team. If they don't won anything meaningful over the next 2 or 3 years than critics will be fair in their assessments.
