So I see Penn State decided to bury the game film from the Temple game in the ground. As a symbolic gesture. Makes sense; they learned well that if you can just ignore unfortunate events, hopefully things will work themselves out.

It's tough b/c he's trying to protect a parent and their legacy, so in a way you sort of feel for him. Then you think about the fact that that parent gave safe harbor and comfort to a child rapist and, well, you say **** him (Jay).

Jay is officially worse than Joe. Wait, that can't be right but he seems as entitled as his child-rape enabling father.

Nobody gives a **** about the Paterno family anymore. There's one 50-something guy who writes to the college paper every month about it and less people are engaging him than ever before. Even the most hardline Paterno supporters see him as a lunatic who can't let go. Honestly, it's mental illness.

Doesn't provide any information we didn't already have. But it does record the perspective of the scandal, the university, and the town from multiple points of view which provides for a well-rounded documentary.

The director had no dog in the fight and didn't act to villify Joe Paterno or stand up for the university. Straight down the middle type of work.

Only thing it did was make me realize that I hate my university and its supporters more than I thought. I couldn't help but be incredibly annoyed with some of the comments especially by Jay Paterno who comes off even worse here than he has anywhere else.

Man's got some balls to hold that sign in that environment. I couldn't do that. After that screencap, there's 3 minutes of cringeworthy responses from cultists which include verbal taunts, physical confrontation, and a woman giving the sign of the cross (lol). Three minutes doesn't sound like much, but it's more than I can handle.
