That wouldn't be a half-bad idea chim IF COL was playing a day game.
Playing at night tomorrow gives them mostly enough time to recover [although they do have to recover too].

The 19 game I was saw on a Saturday night went until 1:35am.
The two teams met again Sunday afternoon at 1:00pm so less than 12 hours after finishing their ridiculous marathon.
The visiting team's ace pitcher [Ricardo Rodriguez who pitched some in the majors] carried a no-hitter into the 9th against the mostly bleary-eyed home team.

That true? Said game has to go to next day.
there's a rule about that IF it's not the last meeting of the season between the two teams but it's only in the American League.

In the National League there is no curfew.

That's my understanding of it anyway but it might be out-dated info.

That was a rule at least as of a few years ago, but I thought the rule was 1:59AM.

The hilarious part is he's just throwing fastballs. And they still can't hit him.

That is going to be a slaughter. Maddux is going to have to eat innings regardless how he does.

If he can go 6, Meredith, bell and hoffman should be good.

Where'd you get action down on Haren v. Maddux? I presume you found a site where it's not just going to be no-actioned when Young doesn't start tomorrow?

Isn't the obvious solution to call up an arm or 2?

For whoever is actually watching the game - are these guys swinging for the fence on every pitch right now? Just trying to end the damn game themselves?

They all look like they are swinging 5 pound bats. Ledezma is cruising throwing 89 MPH fastballs, and nothing else.

I can't find anything concrete on the curfew. I was under the impression that they had it in the AL and not in the NL. WHo knows what happened when they combined rules.
