They needed a win though. That's the important thing.

My business partner is responsible for that hit, told me to turn it on literally at the moment it came.

Great win, though, we needed that.

LMAO at my wife's comment after the no hitter got broke up. "Well, at least now I can breathe". I said "honey you could have breathed also if the ball was caught".

Question to trivia fans. Anyone besides Nolan Ryan pitch a no hitter after age 40?

P. S. I don't know the answer.

How old was Randy when he threw the perfecto?

EDIT: Checked it, yup he was 40. Oldest ever to be perfect.

In their 4-game losing streak, they've lost by 5 runs.
including a game where the opposing staff issued 7 walks, and K'd 2 while the red sox K'd 10 and walked 3.

The gayest thing about this is Curt's going to ride the high horse in his blog post and say something like, "a win's a win, and that's what's important", when it should just be, "FUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK"

Everyone, regardless of what team affiliation they carry, should be very happy about this. Listening to him talk about his own perfect game would be beyond unbearable. It would give me nightmares.

It wouldn't have been a perfect game despite Schilling not walking anybody. An A's batter got on base in the fifth inning due to a Julio Lugo error.

Wouldn't Schilling haters have had more fun ribbing him for missing a perfect game due to an error?
