they bought up all the rinks in texas and now have a monopoly on charging for ice time so anyone in texas who wants to play hockey has to pay way off market fees in order to do so

just disgusting, that income is a rounding error to the team, they should be welcoming all possible youth hockey development in texas

ok but filip chytil on pace for 168 goals is appreciated

but i've seen this movie a hundred times before, where a team's #1 question (in this case, "who is 2c?") gets answered in a big way, before ultimately falling flat on its face. he'll finish with like 12 goals lol

the "elias pettersson is cooked/washed and should be traded/executed" narratives are in full force already this season, so i decided to take a look at the numbers and he's 1st on the team 67% xg so far lol
(the canucks are a team are 29th, with 43% xg)

hockey might actually have the dumbest fans/media/coaches/executives/etc i stg

Rumor around Kings land is Kempe is close to signing a big deal.

We are about 5 months from the general realization that the Kings need another rebuild. Hopefully Denault and Doughty(with retention) get a return at the deadline. Kopi probably doesn't move and exits to Slovenia.

Of course Kings will insist they are 'contenders' and take on more bad contracts
