Who knew Pierre Turgeon was an a-hole, did not want to shake Leafs player's hands, and Nylander was giving him the dirty look, LOL.

Why are they shaking hands ? Are the Leafs out of the playoffs already?

Come on now, Leafs aren’t out of the playoffs until the first round ends

I just noticed this, probably because the Monahan trade is so long ago, but the Flames are absolutely screwing themselves by picking up all these points. If they don't finish bottom 10 in the standings, they gotta hand over their own 1st round pick to MTL (if they do, it's Florida's pick). Management's gotta be proactive here and ship out every contributor who isn't untradeable ASAP and preferably bring in a goalie who can't stop a beach ball in the process

The same lineup except Woll is in the net against Montreal.

was gonna say "why didn't they tank from the summer?", but they did. along with the ducks and cbj they're spending $10m+ less than everyone else. probably stuck with all these old guys (backlund, kadri, huberdeau, coleman, etc), should be able to trim a little bit more though

probably too soon to be concerned about where they are in the standings; 22nd in xg, 9th in pdo, dman rasmus andersson is the only individual player who has much to brag about, goalies have been meh, and so on. i assume this will fade, especially after they ship a few players out

Yeah probably too early to panic. 22nd in xG is cutting it close though, and there's 4-5 teams they seem like locks to finish ahead of already. Not having any standouts also makes gutting the roster more difficult.

I went hard on Big Val to get a point, less hard on Drouin, and light on Val point.
