I don't think it was goalie interference, puck was already in. We also don't know if it was or wasn't, since Canucks didn't challenge. That being said, war room also doesn't know if it was or wasn't, they just roll a dice when called upon.

I just watched ESPN Woat Take's segment on the NHL playoffs. As expected, a total waste of time other than Molly Qerim looking hot af. NYR vs. VGK in the SCF was their (predictable) prediction.

I understand that the regular season is far different than the playoffs. But, I don't believe that teams can just turn it off and on come playoff time when they want. Biggest stat that concerns me regarding VGK:

VGK in April 2023 went 5-2 giving up 11 regulation goals (1.57 goals per game)
VGK in April 2024 went 4-4 giving up 29 regulation goals (3.63 goals per game)

A fully healthy Mark Stone will help their defense a bit as he's their best defensive player. But beyond that, I don't see them suddenly regaining their end of 2023 defensive form. Even with having a head coach who knows how to win a SC, it will take a miracle for this year's team to get back to the SCF again.

Anyways, I won't get to see much more of this first round as I am going to be off of the grid doing family stuff and limited to no access to TV for the next 10 days or so. Hope y'all enjoy.

This is a Bruins team that most picked for 8th to 10th in the East. They got their on the strength of their goaltending (among a few other things). And all year they rotated. I think the rotation was perfect the last 24 games. Last playoffs they ditched the rotation and sucked.

In the other guy you have a Vezina winner with a massive body, who was outplaying Sway down the stretch. They gave Sway game 1 because he was 3-0 vs Toronto this year. My sense is Linus gets game 2.
