No argument there. Either way his agent should be fired, what are you paying him for if your just going to what you want anyway.

As much as I don't want to see the Oilers win a cup, its hard not to respect Mcdavid for this. Still only 2 years though and shouldn't relieve much stress from the organization and fan base since they basically have a 2 year window now. That said I hope mcdavid stays healthy the next 2 seasons.

I won't be surprised if Edmonton not doing great by trade deadline 2027, he demands a trade. They could get an absolute haul for him and $12.5m (~$2.8m cap left at deadline) should be very moveable.

fading the habs is my only take for this season. they'll probably be better than last last year, but the hype is too much man

With a playoff salary cap in place the whole post-deadline cap space becomes kind of irrelevant. Obv he'd still fetch a haul tho

I think they'll be a much improved team and end up in roughly the same spot.

yeah, exactly. they were 28th in xg last year and ran like gods to make the playoffs. they should be better, and maybe make the playoffs on merit this time around. but ppl hyping them up as some elite team, or like that they'll be better than the laffs? i mean i hope so, but yeah i doubt it

Wow! Shocking day, Cowan is not on the Leafs roster they submitted. We picked up Cayden Primeau, who is looking like our backup all of a sudden. Bit bizarre, players taking less money, strange moves, no idea on Woll and Reimer, gonzo.

i would make predictions, but they'd just be rand. and the nhl itself is rand, so

but shooting my shot for the final, fading the cats because of the barkov injury and the they can't keep getting away with it factor, and i also like the stars, but just to be different lets say: avs > lightning

The opening day games really suck. Avs-Kings is fine I guess, but it's the game the least amount of people is gonna watch.

I always watch game one for the Blackhawks and the past few years it hasn't been many more after. But so far they are hanging in there but don't really look good. I weould love to see them finally get competetive again.

Hi mrbaseball! Welcome to the dark side!

I will be honest with ya's, I am interested on how the rookie sharks do, mainly cause I pulled a Celebrini and Shakir Mukhamadullin rookie cards.

I always homer the Stars. Bet to win division, west and final.

Sleeper I'm going to hammer when they play at home is the Ducks until Vegas catches on. We'll see how horribly that goes.

Should've just saved yourself the trouble and chosen "Sadness" or "Depression" as the new name as that's what Maple Leaf hockey is all about.

What is an NHL replacement player worth in picks?

It must matter if it's LD, RD, LW, RW, C, is that RC, LC?

RD is worth the most these days.

AI says 34% of 2nd round picks make the NHL. A 1st for an RD, a 2nd and a 3rd for a forward?

Seems high...let's look through the trades.
