Good article about Coyotes trying to build a new arena. Tempe already turned them down. Phoenix doesn't want them and Scottsdale certainly doesn't either. If I was the owner, I'd peace out and move the team somewhere where I'm wanted.

Guarantee you the Austin/Round Rock/Cedar Park area would take them in a heartbeat. Don't know how the Stars would feel about that, but again there's plenty of places in the country that would be glad to have them.

As far as expansion goes, why would an owner want to start a new team here after seeing the way they have treated the Coyotes? Maybe there is behind the scenes stuff between the cities and the owner I don't know about.

Report coming out adding to what I have been saying and that time of year again that massive changes to the Toronto Maple Leafs may happen if they do not go deep this year, like at very least 2 rounds as new boss for ownership team and ownership wants results.
