Other teams in the Pacific must be in shock. Epic trade is epic.

Message from my Sens fan friend.

I blame the guy who gave Melnyk a new liver. Such foresight to remain anonymous.

There's no way they play burns and EK on the same pairing, at least at even strength, right?

It would be sick, but they are both right handed shots, so its unlikely. I think EK will pair up with Vlasic since they complement each other perfectly (could say the same thing for Burns/Vlasic as well).

I wonder if they consider moving burns up to winger again since they have so much depth at defense now.

Was legit surprised somebody was considering that as a likely option. Wot.

I am curious as well. In my completely unbiased opinion i think hed want to be part of the next dynasty and ship the next 5 cups.

Evander Kane has been the hype man apparently. He called/texted EK after the news and waxed poetic about his experience playing for the best run, most classy organizaion in the game with the most passionate fans. Apparently it is a euphoric experience.

Vancouver Canucks @Canucks

#Canucks forward Antoine Roussel will not participate in #CanucksCamp after sustaining a concussion during an informal scrimmage before arriving in Vancouver. He is currently undergoing a return to play protocol and skated under the supervision of #Canucks medical staff today.
and the dumbass GM & coach even lied about it
were asked the other day if everyone was healthy and ready to go, and they both said yes
apparently this concussion was suffered 3 weeks ago
so we're off to another typical start with these morans lying about everything for no damn reason

When you're gritty a concussion isn't a really injury, LDO.

Chia, Dorion and Bergevin have got to be the 3 worst gms in the league by now...

Benning used to be bad (still is bad w those hazardous signings this summer), but his draft pedigree seems to be keeping him above from the other three droolers. And hes won some trades recently, so thats nice.

Also shameful that all those bad gms are running Canadian teams...

Top gms would be smthg like this I think in no particular order

- Steve Y/Brisebois
- Chevy
- Poile
- Wilson

Not sure who else I would put in this top 5

Honorary mentions to Rutherford and Shero. Sakic seems doing better after a v iffy start.

Stevie Y stepping down like that is pretty impressive. That's a seriously alpha movie imho. Guess he can pick his next job literally anywhere.

I wouldn't think other players would care about that, he was just a kid and that was almost 6 years ago. I thought that was something that only the NHL old boys dinosaur cared about.

Aah okay, I do remember that there were serious concerns on his attitude for quite a bit of time from a lot of people. Not just the ones who think Omark should not pirouette a shoot-out goal.

Seeing what Lou is doing out on the Island, Dubas gets a little slack for some of the questionable moves in Toronto. Dubas has to be in the discussion.
Poile has the track record.
Yzerman done a lot right.
Cheveldayoff is a nit who only trades when he has to. Draft and develop has gone well. We shall see how he does with maintaining.

For sure. Remember that Toronto was a dumpster fire for a decade, and now they're a legit contender. It would lunacy to attribute any of that to Lou "Shave your Sideburns Mattingly" Lamiorello.

Struggling with this decison. Standard fantasy league need to pick 2 keepers. Eichel, Tarasenko or Tavaras?
