I don't like the guy either, especially since I go to school in Pittsburgh, but I think it sucks seeing anyone lose out on a career season due to injury.

I don't want to twist your arm.

It's not like we won't be on a back to back with our backup in goal.

Sabres/Leafs game last night was atrocious. I don't even think it was sold out.

I think I could have counted the number of quality scoring chances for Buffalo on one hand.

And watching Niedermayer play in person is hilarious.

NYR: 3-6-1 last 10
LAK: 8-0-2 last 10

NYR: 13-12-3 @ home
LAK: 15-13-2 @ away

Straight-shoot W/L 1-wk seems fair to me

Easily my most hated Flame of all time. He has to be. Trying to think as I type this who I despised more in a Flames jersey and I can't think of anyone.

Laziest piece of **** in the entire ****ing league. What a joke.

I hate the shootout, and would rather not gamble on it.

niedermayer isn't so much lazy as he is bad. he just doesn't seem to know the right spots on the ice to go to, and when he does find them, he's always arriving late.

Niedermayer's stats for last night:

0 G
0 A
0 PTS (ldo)
0 SOG
0 Hits
0 Blocked shots
9:43 TOI

He literally did nothing

Habs got Paul Mara because the AHL d-man we got in the Lapierre trade (Festerling) is injured, just like 4 of our regular d-men (Markov, Gorges, Spacek, Gill) and they don't want to lose Mathieu Carle to re-entry waivers. So they had to get an emergency guy like Mara and shipped the Ducks their own pick back.

It's not totally Niedermayer's fault, but I get beyond frustrated when Buffalo is down by one with three minutes to go and Niedermayer and Grier are allowed to be on the ice, taking a normal shift. Why?

Edler, Hamhuis, Bieksa, Ballard, Alberts, Sweatt.

That's a better top 6 (or at least top 4) than most of the NHL. All on IR.

No idea why the Devils thought he was worth $13.5 mill for 4 yrs.

No idea and it is frustrating. I see those plugs on the ice and I just know that the Sabres aren't scoring in the next 35 seconds or whatever so I do the math and 3 minutes to go really means 2:20 or whatever.

Oh, last night was the first time I've seen Myers play in person and he is pretty damn impressive.

tallinder's contract is going to explode in that final year but he is a very good defenseman, it's a fine deal

At this point in his career, yes. Obviously I'm remembering what he did as Flame primarily. That's where he won his only individual award to date iirc, from the Toronto Sun's annual player poll, which crowned him "Laziest Player in the League."

Once upon a time, he was a 5th overall pick, lulz. Still have no idea what Button was thinking at the time of that trade. He robbed Calgary of $6 million back when that was a huge deal. I'm getting angry just thinking about him going through the motions in Calgary. Dear God, he was atrocious. At least Val Bure gave a **** in his own special way, not to mention he was a pretty damn good player.

lol Special Nieds
