Mason Raymond's LOLtastic 2nd goal, for those who missed it (featuring the "Brent Sutter face")

wow... not sure what kiprusoff's supposed to do with a black puck against a black backdrop like that.

Inside sources told me that Raymond has been practicing that move all week long. He's been trying to mesh the black puck with the black ceiling/jumbotron and has actually patted it down quite nicely. He says the trick is to use a 60 degree projectile with around 60% strength. With that combo it reaches a nice 40 feet high. It's kind of like losing the frisbee in the sunlight says Raymond. Except this time, it's a goalz. Don't feel bad Kipper, it fooled Raycroft and Luongo too!

Extended my post-Christmas NHL 10 online ranked games winning streak to 8 games, yet I'm still on lifetilt.

Time to piss away some buyins methinks.

That's similar to the "float it" pitch from Rookie of the Year

I wish NHL 10 was goot... seems like FIFA is the only sports game I like right now and that's probably because I haven't played it online yet.

lol @ "Let's go Caps! Ovechkin #8" sign at the NFL game

Very happy with the weekend the Hawks had.

Only up 4 points against HWS, sweep the home and home against the 2nd place team, and now have an 8 point lead and a game in hand.

It also bothers me when the anti-Huet fans overcompensate by fellating Niemi, downplaying his goals as bad defense/puck possession, yet screaming dumb stuff like Poo-et regardless of the situation in which a goal was scored.

If I wasn't reffing a boatload of Christmas tournament games tomorrow, I would've been down. Just 45 mans for me tonight.

The Sandlot is one of the best sports movies of all time. Epic.

So many fans, so much fail.

"Maybe Iginla should be stripped of the captaincy, you know, light a fire under him, get the team going, shake things up."

"The team did okay without Iginla last year, maybe we don't need him as much as we think."

Losing 6 of 7 is bad, but this is what a ****kicking does to the online masses? lol.

Just imo...Brent dropped some big hints in his post-game press conference that brother bear is looking at a roster shakeup.

Detriot needs goaltending right? Then we can trade demitra and 2nd for someone like kessel. I think kessel wants to win and hes never going to do that with the Maple LAUGHS (haha ^^) and then we haf...

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows
kessel - datsyuk - zetterberg
demitra - kesler - bernier
rypien - hordy - clutterbuck

mitchell - edler
bieksa - schnieder
ehrhoff - o'brien

Raycroft
Schneider

What do u guys think?

Lol dumb sports fans. What's sad are the Hawks fans who bitch when things are going good. John McDonough, or McCub, as the mouthbreathing south side union plumbers call him, is a consistent target.

That is pretty terrible.

You want music when the play is stopped, when nothing is going on, or to celebrate, or whatever, that's fine. But playing music during a fight gives a lot of ammo to the argument that fighting is just a sideshow, which is so badly wrong it's sad that people see it as that.

Gamblor is the definition of "old school".

btw I agree of no music during fights. I'm not even a big fan of those 10 second soundtracks of Rihanna. I hate it when a song just stops in the middle of a chorus.

I've tried to explain here before, this phenomenon is behind a lot of weak-looking goals, including one that floated by Cam Ward in the playoffs last year.

Hey, I like music. I can even get behind the ol' "eye of the tiger" after a tilt.

Jeez, though. during a fight?

Good lord, I'd pay the music guy a little visit after. "Hey, do you mind? I'm getting my face pounded here. Can you lay off the Nickelback?"
