I don't know that streaks of 25 or 28 games are cherry picking (I mean obviously we are cherry-picking here, but you know what I mean), especially in the case of Luongo where he's playing almost every game (and the period I chose makes up 80% of his season to this point). It's almost as if the poor start is the anomaly skewing the stats. Furthermost, I think what he's done this season as been very impressive, considering that the team in front of him has been quite poor at times, especially the defense.
Nabokov looks to be having a very good season as well, and I wouldn't accuse you of cherry-picking by looking at a 25-game stretch. That's a pretty significant portion of a NHL season, and certainly tells us something about how he's playing. That record is pretty sick, if those numbers are true.
