Avs have a tougher schedule down the stretch. Considerably tougher. Kings twice more, San Jose twice more, Phoenix, Vancouver, Chicago and of course the big one against us on April 2nd.

If the Flames take care of business, my prediction is they'll be mathematically alive until their final game of the regular season on April 10th - against the Sedin sisters n' co.

I don't think anybody but the worst homers will defend his tirade at the end of the game, but those incidents are pretty rare - that sequence only defines Crosby to the people who look for reasons to hate him.

I just read that Zetterberg speared Crosby after the faceoff in the balls before the altercation, but to be fair I read it on HF boards. I'll have to watch the replay again when I get a chance.

Speared is definitely harsh, but typical of HF hyperbole.

He looks to get his stick in there, but a pretty standard "can-opener" off the draw to make sure Sid can't do anything (if it's intentional, I think it probably is, but might not be). Seems like quite an overreaction, but iirc they have beef going from the last couple Finals against each other. I only watched a little bit of this game tonight, but I did notice Sid backchecking on Zetterberg one play, and taking some huge hacks at his body/arms.

And Crosby has never seemed to deal well with losing or frustration.

They're going to have to, since we haven't had a single Avs fan in here all season.

It's hilarious how all the Crosby haters are whining about what he did. Scrums like that after a game happen quite often in the NHL, but when Crosby starts one everyone whines about it. Not to mention the history between the 2 playing 13 Cup finals games against each other the past 2 years.
