The Jets are coming off a bye. You seem to be ignoring this. I imagine Vegas looks more favorably on teams coming off byes, no?

Being a saints fan..i can honestly say that the rams played amazing yesterday and did not look like a team that hasnt wona game..i've never seent he saints o line look so miserable before..and i think it was a product more of the schemes than the saints just sucking..for some reason the rams always play the saints tough it's unbelievable..at least bradford didnt play we mighta lost 62-7..although feeley played good

Ya this is true..but ironically the records of teams coming off byes is awful this year...i dont know if it's because all the bad teams pretty much had byes the first few weeks..but it would make sense i guess

at this point, anyone who even thinks Luck will be a good QB is racist

Yeah Needle I thought the Jags played pretty stout D this weekend. They shut down Arian pretty well and even without Andre the Texans were coming off a 41 point game against Tenn.

Though Schaub looked absolutely atrocious on deep balls. No idea why Failbiak called like 10 of these when none were within 5 yards of being completed and it was 7-7 at the time. I don't know how well their D was on these balls as they were so incomplete that I wasn't even paying attention to the coverage.

Gabbart was awful wrt accuracy but honestly if Garrard was playing (assuming 2010 form) there's a very non-zero chance they knock off the Texans. And Gabbart may not be a long term solution but he'll get better.

Jaguars probably coulda won the division this year with Garrard.

Rams have more pieces than the Jags I'd say. Long, Quinn, Laurinaitis all seem like they could make a few pro bowls in their career. Bradford has a lot of untapped potential, high ceiling. All important positions that look solid long term. The Jags are building around I dunno Monroe, Knighton, Alualu? I guess. Knighton is the only one who looks like a surefire stud type.

(Young players obv)

Derek Cox is young too, hmm. Thought he has been around for some reason.

Didn't see any games yesterday. Didn't have power for the past couple of days due to that little storm that came through the northeast.

Looking at box scores right now.

No, I believe that but am using it to illustrate there is a double standard as well.

There is also a difference between trading two players and who is actually better at this moment in time.

He was lined up against a turnstile and an airport runway director. He didn't spend much time on his side of the line and was constantly in Brees's face. He should get a lot of the credit for the poor offense from NO yesterday

"A lot of credit has to go to him," Frazier said of Ponder. "We're calling the same plays. We're running the same offense."

The "difference" is that when we run, run and are left with 3rd and 9 McNabb either feels the rush and curls into the fetal possision or skips one off the dirt. Ponder will feel the rush and get it to his hot read (and let percy make a man miss to pick it up) or will hit Shiancoe in the chest at the marker.

Those are plays that the vikings COULDNT do when McNabb was in.

In the 4th quarter, Ponder 10/16 on 3rd down.
McNabb 4/17.

ponder is far more accurate than mcnabb, which is way more important than arm strength/elusiveness when your WR's really suck

McNabb has just lost it and should retire. I'd sign him for the minimum as a backup maybe.

Because the guy's argument for Ben not being traded for Brees had to do with the FO of the Steelers somewhat ignoring the OL and spending that money on the defense because of Ben's skillset and playing style. While I do not necessarily agree with it, it is an argument...

It's possible PIT would not trade Ben for Brees I guess. Dumb question tho as NO never ever makes the offer.

Yeah Needle, the Rams dline sexually violated the Saints yesterday. It would have been alright if we had Normal Brees, but we had Hero Brees who pops up a few times a year and decides he's going to force throws 15-20 yards downfield into coverage instead of making the easy open dump offs he does 95% of games, which then in turn make throwing downfield easier, but alas even I said multiple times the Saints would probably blow some games this year. Just didn't think it would be da Rams at all.

ok i see that argument. def dont agree. i think brees takes less sacks behind ben's line bc he sees the game and has a sick release. im not 100% certain or anything, but thats just my feeling.

I'm really shocked at how bad McNabb has fallen off. With these last 2 years, I feel like he's hurt his legacy a bit more than most old QBs who change teams. Yay/nay?
