It's amazing that firing a guy who has had more success in his first 4 years than any coach has in their first 4 in NFL history might actually be correct

Who's the next coach if Harbaugh leaves?

You think Fangio gets the job over Roman? I thought the GM had a boner for Roman.

Have read that David Shaw or Gruden are two possibilities.

Fangio on an interim basis, who knows if Harblah's gone after the season. Gases seems like a likely target. Ideally I'd want Roman or CHUD but neither seem realistic

If Harblah is fired in-season because of the team turning on him it has to be Fangio for leader of men purposes

There is less than 0 chance Harblah is replaced by black Harblah. And if he is **** this team, I'm out

He wants to coach for 10 million a year, so I don't imagine it matters where that is as long as he gets it

Plus Michigan Man

Roman blows ass.

I'm going to really lose confidence in our ownership if we let Harbs leave. There are no coaches on the market that are even close to him at this point even if we sniped a coach, most of the ones we could get are so lol. **** Deion btw.

Definite lol niners if they take Shaw. Send out the punting team. I can't hate him too much, because all things considered, he's a pretty good get for Stanford who has been able to keep the program relevant for longer than I expected, but the Niners should be able to do better.

If you're gonna fire Harblah then CHUD is really the most logical choice. You can't bring in another harbaughesque coach or philosophy ESPECIALLY when you have players coming out and calling out playcalling for hyperconservatism. CHUD is pretty anti-Harblah like that. Plus the browns roster loved the guy

It's funny people say the 49ers could do better but we had b2b2b coaches of Erickson, Nolan and Singletary. So our being able to pull stud coaches isn't exactly been easy. Therefore losing Harbaugh is a big ****ing deal for me and I can't believe the team thinks they are some how in a better spot without him than with him.

I don't know much about Gase except that chim loves him but I know hiring Peyton's OC is never a good idea

David Shaw is with no equal the worst playcaller alive. He's a great recruiter but a horrible coach. He has no business being in the NFL in any capacity

The annual "watch Trent Richardson get comprehensively outplayed by his backup" tragicomedy is off to a rip-roaring start this season. Through four games, Ahmad Bradshaw, with 24 fewer touches, has opened up a lead of 18.6 to -6.2 EPA. lol Donald Brown was only 40 points better over most of a season. On the plus side: TRich, with a full off-season to learn the playbook, has leapt from 2.9 to an explosive three point three yards per carry.

How good of a coach is Harblah if despite 3 years of incredible success his own players want him gone?

How good of a coach is Harblah if his own players openly call him out?

How good of a coach is Harblah if nobody can be bothered to play intelligently or with accountability INCLUDING his franchise qb?

Maybe the 9ers are worse off without him, but this situation is completely untenable

Being able to take over a franchise with a regular-season record of 38-13-1 over the past three-and-a-quarter years is a pretty big selling point imo

Not sure how you can fire a coach making the NFCCG 3 straight seasons the middle of a potential 4th

How many and who?

Who is openly calling him out other than LMJ?

I'm not sure why this point keeps happening, but it also happened with Alex Smith who is supposedly, very smart.

With Harbaugh you find a way to make it work. If we keep winning, we need to find a way.

You say the 49ers are the best situation for a coach in a while. First of all nobody loves following a top flight coach--this is true in a ton of sports--the expectations are immense. Secondly, who can we realistically get at this point. Thirdly, who on earth can we get that is even close to his level. Harbaugh has his faults, at the same time he has less faults than almost any coach out there.

I'm trying to figure out who the disgruntled parties could be at this point:

Crabtree--maybe, he's in a contract year.
Boone--he has been sucking ass though, his issues should be with the FO not Harbs.
LMJ--he's gone.
Lloyd--who gives a ****.
Patton--he get's no minutes.
Ray--not sure why.
Aldon--not Harb's fault Aldon is suspended.

Do you really think Willis, Gore (maybe before this game), Kap, Vernon, Justin, Reid, Staley are up and arms over Harbs? Most of the guys I can think of that are possibly disgruntled other than Crabs are pretty replaceable.

I think B Jacobs also called Harbs out. Guess what he was gone before the end of the season.

every team would be better off firing their OC and hiring CHUD. all but the patriots would be better with him as their HC

Also as it relates to Gase the last time the 9ers overvalued a coordinator who just happened to be the guy who presided over a unit with transcendent talent they hired Mike Nolan

Never again

How good is the Seattle OC or DC, I'd be willing to give either a shot but then again they both have sick talents on both sides of the ball.

How good is the Oregon coach now? Could he run the same system(s) that Chip runs?

I guess the Auburn HC, Malzahn would be interesting as well but really Arkansas State to HC of the 49ers in 3 years....seems nuts. A&M Coach is interesting as well.

Still prefer Harbs to all these guys.

WE! WANT! CHUD!

WE! WANT! CHUD!

I of course have no factual evidence to support this, but I truly believe the only reason Peyton is a Bronco and not a 9er is Harblah
