Chiefs should try to trade neckbeard to Bears or Texans ldo right? Or just make their draft position a bit worse since deadline passed?

Last edited by fanmail; 11-23-2011 at 07:31 PM. Reason: trade deadline

San Diego sucks and has sucked for years now. Emperor's clothes, etc. Until they actually give anyone any reason to think they are a playoff threat we should assume they will be riddled with fail. They don't deserve otherwise.

AFC is just bad this year. Packers repeat inevitable.

Oh man I bet they could have gotten a king's ransom from Houston.

ya agreed, head to head match ups are one game samples. Or two game samples if you play a division opponent twice. Even though casual fans want to discern a lot from these match ups the truth is that its an extremely small sample size thats heavily influenced by variance.

I think a Cutler-less Chicago has a better chance of winning than a Forte-less Chicago, but they're both pretty damn important to the team, of course.

While this is 100% true, Flacco isn't nearly as bad as the SE haters make him out to be. Flacco is in the top 50% of the leagues starters. I've been saying this forever and though he makes me look stupid sometimes, Joe has better physical tools than all but maybe 5 QBs in the league. Sure he might not become top 7-8 in the league like I had predicted before the season, but he really doesn't suck.

Cincy scares me just as much as the Jets. If Sanchez somehow unsucks a lot come playoff time (assuming they make it.) then they're easily in the same tier as Bal, Pit, and NE.

As it stands right now I think the following have the best chance to make the SB.

Baltimore (assuming HFA. If not, scratch that idea)
Pittsburgh
New England
Houston
Oakland
Jets
San Diego
Cincy
Titans
Broncos

I'd put Baltimore behind NE maybe Houston if they don't get HFA.

im a huge cutler homer but im pretty confident this is wrong, and im pretty confident you'll find that out in the next few weeks

bears have won the last 3 weeks with forte having pretty meh games for his standard (did well in the philly game but 2 fumbles lost are pretty brutal)

Needle, I just saw someone on another forum claim Derek Cox is having such a good season that he should be considered a top 5 candidate for DPOY. Seem pretty obvious that that's laughable, but how well is he actually playing IYO?

The guy also went on the say that he's better than Nhamdi right now, too.

Pats obviously have a better chance than the other two because they aren't in the same division as another one.

With their marshmallow schedule, NE should be on the odds on favorite to get HFA too..

Haven't they lost their last 2 home games in January (vs Jets last year and vs Baltimore the year before?). It's amazing how many games in a row they have won in the regular season, but have struggled in their last 2 home playoff games.

well, they're also missing their stud NT, one or two of their starting WRs, and two or three of their starting o-linemen. Losing Jackson is really just the straw that broke the camel's back.

Yeah, obviously the last three weeks have been super rough, but I think this is the point where the last hope of a successful season leaves the building.

maybe he should think about some of those teams that beat them.. and his 28 yrd performance against jax..

isnt it amusing that people only ever seem to say what he said, when they win the game against "the best team they played"...

Tennessee, Jacksonville, and Seattle beat them. I didn't know anyone would find it controversial to claim San Francisco is better than any of them.

Winner. That Pats are no longer a dynasty. They are very beatable at home in the playoffs. Obviously they're super tough and even tougher in NE, but I ain't scurred.

Even if Baltimore gets the 2 seed I have them as SB favorites. If they somehow **** up and get a WC spot... they're probably like 15-20%.

Well, it is kind of strange to say that a team that you beat by 10 is better than teams that beat you. Is he implying that they didn't play hard against those teams? Seems more like recency bias/ lol athlete talk than anything.

lol, no it's not. I feel like the high turkey consumption just made everyone brain dead.

The Ravens did no play good games vs those teams. The Ravens played their best game of the entire season save for maybe week 1 and only managed to beat the 49ers by 10. I'm probably the last person that should be getting tilted by the lack of logic, but seriously?
