Heard a rumor that the Niners might trade up to #3 to get Dee Milliner.

Sounds horrible considering Star or Floyd would be available. And I'm not sure how much that would cost, but I guess the Raiders are desperate for depth. While I don't think our CBs are great, unless Dee is a once in a generation player like Bailey or Revis, this seems very much against what the team has been doing.

That sounds like a very expensive move up, probably too expensive. 9ers have extra picks in 2, 3, 5, 7th rounds. Judging by the Julio Jones trade they would not get #3 even if they gave all their extra picks and their 1st (31 overall).

Difference between Julio trade and this is Julio has pretty great value, while I'm not sure the 3rd overall pick in this years draft does. Honestly, I would rather stick to what the 9ers have and get a DT/NT, FS, TE with our first 3 picks rather than 1 great prospect.

If they have Milliner as the #1 player in the draft, why not do it? 9'ers might feel they need strong impact players more than depth, or maybe just dont want to gamble too much on the lower rounds of this draft. Either way I doubt it would cost more than this years 1st, 2nd, 3rd (prob a little less imo) and they can afford it. If they think Milliner is the best, and they dont like the lower round prospects relatively as much, I say go for it

I think the Pats have shown that having an abundance of late round picks isn't all that great

I think the prime time games for week one could be something like:

TNF: Ravens at SteeLOLrs
SNF: Seahawks at Niners
MNF 1: Saints at Falcons
MNF 2: Chiefs at Broncos
id be stunned if the opening snf wasnt the manning bowl

rotoworld had them trading up to #8 with buffalo and taking tavon austin.

i couldn't find out what they were giving up, are there any ideas on what it would cost them? this years 1st + 2nd + ?

also, why are the ravens playing a road game to start the season on tnf? it's supposed to be ceremony night for champions, in like every sport.

are you late to hearing about this? orioles have a game the same night and won't budge. i can't remember if it's the owner or the commish but they won't budge. i think it's the owner.

This is true. SNF Manning Bowl (3.0?) Is a lock for week one. I think SF vs SEA is a week one game as well... but that could be Fox's Game of the Week.
