They gave up a 1st and a 4th and then paid him 16mm for one year; nearly 60% more than the next highest paid player at the position.

Let us all lol.

eta: In fairness, it's not quite as bad as it looks. Part of the reason he received 60% more than the next player was he got 0 dollars guaranteed. No signing bonus, no anything; effectively making Revis a year to year deal without lingering consequences. Where as the next highest player received 50% of his contract guaranteed.

Still lol tho.

Rapoport reporting that Clemons is now on his way to Jacksonville, but really, he's been on his way there since Feb. 4. I hope they pay him well and that he plays well for them.

Ditto. Gus Bradley is super likable and I'm definitely pulling for him in Jacksonville. Seemed like a pretty successful rookie coaching campaign last year given that he was able to take Jacksonville from a historically awful team in week one to a garden-variety bad team in week 17.

seattle resigned starting DT tony mcdaniel for 2 years, 6 mil. so they keep bennett and mcdaniel and let go clemons, bryant, mcdonald. seems like they should still have a pretty good front four but lost a good bit of depth.

Love that Talib's first question in press conference was if he's talked to Wes recently. To which he said Welker and he are great friends, and Wes absolutely didn't do it on purpose.
