The 2021 NFL season kicks off on September 9th, and it's time to get the entries rolling in. This is my ninth season running the PEEHS game, and the tenth year overall. Let's take a look back.....
Once again, there will be 25 questions, but 17 will be about the regular season, and the remaining 8 will be about the end of the year. There will be 13 questions about teams, and 12 about individual players.
RESEARCH IS 100% ALLOWED AND ENCOURAGED
Do as much or as little homework as you'd like. However, if you answer with [retired Chargers/Saints QB] or [NFL all-time leading scorer] or [former Broncos QB/Jaguars TE/etc.], then get ready to hear.....
THE CLUB IS BACK FOR 2021! STAY AWAY!
SCORING
This is PEEHS (and only PEEHS). The winner(s) will have the lowest total score after all 25 questions have been scored and revealed. PEEHS rewards those of you that submit correct answers guessed by as few entrants as possible.
Once again this year, incorrects will be scored as (SHEEP score for that question) + (# of different correct answers submitted for that question). A question's SHEEP can be correct, incorrect, or in the event of multiple SHEEPs, both.
ENTRIES
Anyone can play simply by sending me a PM with your entry. I accept both numbered and non-numbered entries, but please single-space your submission.
Entries will close on Thursday September 9th, once the Cowboys and Buccaneers kickoff from Tampa Bay. As is normally the case, I'm expecting a wave of entries in the days leading up to the opener. Here is my procedure as the 9th nears:
1) NO NEW ENTRIES OF ANY KIND once the Cowboys and Buccaneers begin their game, but you can make as many revisions to existing entries as needed.
2) If you submit close to (but before) the opener begins, and I respond to you after the game starts (to tell you that you need an edit), then you still have the chance to edit and resubmit (but you've lost the chance to submit Dallas- or Tampa Bay-related answers).
All entries will be locked and stand as submitted once the Week 1 early games start. This will be at 1:00 PM Eastern on Sunday September 12th.
KRAZYKRIS
I am playing for the 8th year in a row, and JMurder3 has agreed once again to verify my entry. This is my year!
Cheers to JM3!
Please ask away in the thread or shoot me a quick PM if something isn't clear. Good luck to each and every entrant!

As always a pleasure to partake. I just sat down and did a ton of research for my picks. Really dug deep to find those hidden gems this year that will for sure take me to the promised land.

If you actually tried, there's a decent chance for some Jags players to be correct.
edit: by "actually tried" I mean like submitting D.J. Chark or something for receiving questions and not Tim Tebow
Well, there was a point where I was putting Jags no matter what, even if they could not be an answer at all. Over the past couple of years I do at least try to find an equally bad team to replace Jags when the Jags cannot be the answer or I use a former Jag for an answer, like the Thanksgiving question for this year.
I did use Chark this year finally though, but only for 1. It felt like cheating.
obv KK will clarify, but i think it needs the context of the next couple of lines

i read it as if you've already entered before KO of the first game and KK says you need to edit, you can edit as long as it doesn't include players or teams from the first game
I've sent my entry off to JM3; I'll begin going through everyone's submissions this week.
I'll get reminder emails out hopefully this weekend, and then starting Labor Day I'll bump this thread (and the one in POG) daily to drum up as many players as possible.
