looks like he's gone. it also appears he did something bad enough to get fired. i don't think he's a great gm or anything but goddamn this is a terrible time for this to happen.

mkind you are reading into this way way too deeply

Maybe the Hill trade was done against the will of the owner?

Porter to the Cards.. 3 year $17.5 million and I heard somewhere escalators or incentive up to the low to mid $20 mill area.

That seems like a lot of money. I'm sort of glad the Redskins didn't get him at that price.

wow did they overpay.
03-20-2010 , 02:23 AM
We'll see when the season starts if we overpaid. They have confidence that he has a ton to bring to the team, so we'll see.

From what I've heard, it's actually less than what Porter was asking for.

You basically just trade Dansby for Porter. You're gonna want a blindfold when you see Steven Jackson, Justin Forsett & Frank Gore make Porter look like an 85 year old whenever they run at him.

Porter sucks.

pacman jones apparently ran a 4.40 at his workout. is this guy really gonna get another chance?

I should hope so.

At this point in his career, Porter is just a situational pass rusher.

A situational pass rusher who cant get to the QB anymore. What an asset!

shaun hill for a 7th round pick? is david carr really an upgrade? seems like a good backup QB is worth more then a 7th rounder...
03-21-2010 , 06:30 AM
No way Carr is an upgrade. I think the 49ers just want two #1 pick busts on the same team.

I randomly looked at David Diehl's wiki page. Czech out what it says under "High School Career":
