Any reason why newly hired coaches don't take the opportunity to coach in their new team's bowl game? I get that Richt is still forming his staff, but why not come in, work with the old staff, and get an early evaluation of your soon-to-be players?

Nah, they have to put it in their own EZ to make it a safety. Making contact with the ball isn't enough.

I believe so. If he had picked it up and then fumbled backwards into EZ it's a safety. A muff is just treated as the kicking team putting the ball there as they usually would.
