I'm actually pretty pleased about this. It probably sounds ridiculous given our recent success, but Meyer's form this season was detrimental to the program in just about every way. He lost the ability to make effective decisions, strategize properly, and handle his players/coaching staff.

I am thankful for how well he handled our team during the success, but I wish he had made this decision last offseason!

edit: Mike Leach, one time! Malzahn would be epic as well.

Both are likely to happen and I'll take the under on Gruden.

Auburn will be lucky to go 10-2 with this years team playing next years schedule let alone without Cam/Fairley/O-Line. I'd take 9-3 and run.

Malzahn to MSU is 10x more likely than Malzahn to UF though.

Edit: It is a shame Urban couldn't stick around long enough to actually beat Auburn (Only team he hasn't beaten in the SEC)

edit3: UGA fans should definitely have been rooting for Meyer (+Addazio) to stay on if they are interested in the UF program going backwards.

Petrino's was already in the works, this just bumps him up at least another half mil.

Sexton will still figure out a way to get Nutt's name attached to the UF job.

Maybe God was telling him to step down, not that his recruits should play for Florida.
