lol nova, was that the best thing you could draw up
02-13-2011 , 12:23 AM
If you're going to take a contested three, you might as well not run the clock down to five before doing it
02-13-2011 , 01:55 AM
* SDSU is 4-1 in its last five at Thomas & Mack Center. During that span (since Dec. 17, 2008), the rest of the country is 6-33 against UNLV at the Thomas & Mack Center during that same span.

PG DJ Gay no turnovers in last 158 minutes, so sick

Well it's official. Classic trolling of OSU fans. Again I like how admitting that Wisconsin just flat out played great and won as a result is considered whining if you're an OSU fan while everyone else on this forum does nothing but bitch about refs and other pointless ****. Just look at the series of posts during the NC Duke game and it's nothing but lol refs from both sides but TC and I say "wow, if only wisky didnt have an absurd offensive game OSU could have won this." and we get a bunch of "stop whining" posts from you guys. I guess the only acceptable thing we can say is
"Wisconsin played as expected and won because they are the better team." Anything else is insufferable whining.

Please tell me which if these statements is false.

1) Wisconsin played an amazing game offensively.

2) Had Wisconsin not played that well offensively OSU would have won the game.

(hint: neither, and nothing else that has happened this year regarding what you thin is OSU rungood factors into these two statements.)

I mean Ohio State played very on offense as well. Its more like its hard as **** to win on the road in conference against a very good and well coached team. This result was expected, there is reason they were favorites (Very good team + home with a great crowd + well coached team= favorites v any team in the nation).

After every game you could say "If that team had only made X fewer shots, they would have lost!"

Whats stupid and bad posting is focusing on only one side of the equation. You make it seem like wisconsin was making shots from a michael jordan horse commercial while ohio st played on a 12 foot goal. They were the favorite in the game ffs

Yes but that only makes since when the number of shots made is absurdly high like this game. Do you actually think we would have said anything if Wisconsin played an average offensive game? Our entire ****ing point was that this was probably Wisconsin's best offensive performance of the year. How is this so hard for you people to understand?

And no we didn't make it seem like that. We just said "Wow Wisky can't miss." and all the trolls jumped down our throats.

Apparently this is insufferable whining to you guys. Whatever.

Where did you admit Wisconsin played great? It seems like a lot of runbad whining. Thats why people are trolling you.

big ten basketball: where 71 points is the pinnacle of offensive achievement which cannot be stopped by mere runaverage mortals

how about the mich st game where they shot 59% from the field, 65% from 3, and 96% FT as their best offensive performance?

what would you consider "expectation" for them this game? missing like 2 or 3 more threes? thats the absurdly high number?

oh he mad

Yeah you said Wiscy got lucky to shoot so well, not quite the same as admitting they played great

And now we say something else completely unrelated because we know we are wrong. 71 points is pretty good when you consider the type of offense they run.

I mentioned that game earlier but it's lolsparty so whatever. Maybe this was their second best offensive performance. Who cares. Nobody said Wisconsin didn't deserve to win this game. They did. They played better. As an OSU fan I wanted OSU to win. I and other commented on the fact that that Wisconsin shot the **** out of the ball and won as a result. This is apparently an egregious offense if one is an OSU gane. I apologize commenting on this simple fact which is the most insufferable amount of whining one can do and I will return to complaining about foul calls instead of acknowledging simply getting outplayed.

what would you say is expectation for them, because it looks to be missing just 2 or 3 more three pointers which isnt really an "absurd number", and you are still ignoring that without osu shooting above expectation wisconsin still wins anyway

if youre coming in with crap about lolvariance then at least be right and look at both sides

They often go hand in hand. I literally used the words "played great" or "shot great" or some variation in almost all the posts you quoted.

you seem mad

For one you are ignoring the fact that the main reason OSU shot "above expectation" is that they barely took any threes. And yes I would have expected them to miss a few more threes. They made 12-24. Generally speaking they will not make 12-24. And yes they did get a few really good looks but still not to the points where anyone would expect them to hit 12. Am I wrong?
