Devin Ebanks started 12 of his 24 games last season. Over the past two seasons he has a 7.7 PER, a 44.9 TS% on a 14.7% USG. He's got a 93 ORTG and a 107 DRTG. He's 3 for 19 lifetime on threes. He can't create a shot if his life depended on it and certainly wont be able to with other black holes Perkins and Przybilla on the court.

He also likes to drive drunk.

His new coach doesn't even seem to know he exists.

New Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni said his decision regarding Ebanks has been a matter of familiarity.

"I don’t know him," D'Antoni said.

Ebanks agreed.

"I haven't really talked to him personally, really, like one-on-one,” he said of D’Antoni. “I'm sure as the season goes we'll start to talk a little more."

I wouldn't be so sure. He doesn't belong in the NBA and is already completely out of the Lakers rotation. He's first-round value in this I think.

also he went with labron so im gonna guess he was picked like 59th. If you put the right guys around mcgee he's pretty good. If you surround him with scrubs (at least this is my thoery) he'll run around like a ******. He'll prob be the #1 option on my team, which is just hilarious to think about

Yeah just try and create the recent Washington Wizards 0.5 (normally I would say 2.0) team for McGee's squad and you're good to go.

Steve Blake

I really didn't realize exactly how bad he has been with the Lakers until I checked his $tats. His past 3 PERs: 9.2, 8.5, 7.5 TS: .503, .493, .500, USG: 11.0, 13.0, 11.3. He can't even score efficiently as somebody who stands in the corner and shoots wide open 3's when Kobe passes out of a triple team, and he still manages to turn it over a decent amount in spite of this role. So you can only imagine exactly how bad he'll be when he as our offensive centerpiece where he needs to step up his game beyond bricking wide open shots. He's so bad at hitting wide open corner 3's that he received death threats for this miss:



Don't worry Steve, you are safe to brick as many shots as you want here and nobody will try to hurt you or your family. Our team will have approximately zero fans, so you can freely suck without fearing for your safety.

you shoulda just picked him anyway bro, major lack of WIM on your behalf there

it makes no sense for the parameters to be 50% last year and 6+ this year. the post where he said 6+ for this year he also said 33+ for last year- those were clearly just lazy estimates and the real test is the 50% rule for the sake of consistency. unless it was actually stated that we are using a % for 11-12 and a hard # amount for 12-13 cuz that's how bobbo rolls, pretty sure there's no logical basis for disallowing the blake pick.
