Now 49.6/38.5/94.4 over his last 13.

I don't think there is anything controversial by saying his shooting is in a slump
His slump is over. He had a really bad 5 weeks from late December to end of Jan where he was shooting 37.0/31.6/88.8. Before that he was the MVP and after that he has been fine.

If you want to say he's having a down year, no issues with that. But he wasn't slumping at the start of the year and isn't slumping now.

Toronto doesn't have much depth, but their rotation meshes really well. Could be an epic game between them and the Nets if 7 vs 8.

Trying to find a book or long form deal that really details how he rose in the Spurs org. His early career arc is pretty unique - basically an assistant for Larry Brown for 4 years, staff gets purged, he goes to GSW under Don Nelson for a year, and then all of a sudden he’s back at SA as the GM?

Like how did he make that jump? Seems really rare, especially for back in the day

Steph Curry is a ball hog to the detriment of the team as a whole. This is especially being shown with Draymond on the sidelines. imho he should be looking to be much more of a distributor with either Draymond OUT or on the bench.
Steph with 4 fg's tonight and 8 assists.

Steph CONFIRMED reads TZ!!!

KG got his jersey retired today by the Celtics.

imho he would be even better in today's modern game:

1. He would be the PERFECT small ball 5
2. He'd extend his range to the 3 point line
3. His defensive intensity would be even more prevalent
4. ?????
5. Profit

Suns with ONLY six turnovers with 9:28 left in the 4th.

They are an extremely disciplined and well coached team. Major props to Monty!

Why is Kevin Durant called the servant?

In a recent interview with Bill Simmons, Kevin Durant said he liked the nickname “The Servant” when asked about all of the recent nicknames, like The Slim Reaper, that people are trying to give him. His explanation for the name is that he likes to serve everybody including the ushers.

It's crazy how fast the Lakers went from possibly the best defensive team in the league to one of the worst in only a couple of years. AD looks done after winning it all. Who would have thought? His teams underachieved for years regardless of who he was with but lucky for him he was forced to sort of focus on basketball with one of the game's best of all time in Lebron while in the bubble. If that season didn't go to the bubble Lakers probably don't win it all. AD needed that coddling and lack of fan fare environment to actually have a chance to live up to his hype. He's a total fraud of a player with zero heart.

Westbrook is awful now but at least he has heart. Bring him off the bench now. I realize the Lakers are really bad and the only thing going for them atm is that new HBO series but Westbrook would actually be a really good sixth man if he'd take on that role at this point in his career. I'm looking at the boxscore of last nights game and of all the Laker's starters Westbrook actually had the best +/-. I turned the game off in after the 1st but I assume that's because the Lakers eventually started playing Westbrook with the 2nd unit. Just keep him there. I feel bad for Lebron but I'm sure he'll just relocate next year to wherever suits him best. Meanwhile, lol to Laker' fans for the next half decade+.

One other thing to mention. I'd like to make a bet, baring the odds of course, that an Eastern Conference team will win the NBA championship. Does anyone know of a betting website where this sort of bet is possible?
