There's a difference between having an intent to win and just hoopin'. It reveals itself in a lot of ways. But I think Philly will hoop to the win here. As soon as they played brain dead the first 5 minutes that's what I thought. They play like it's preseason in crunch time of playoff games. But obv. are plenty talented enough to win.

"Ton of cap room" seems inaccurate. From what I've heard they would have to renounce everyone & still would be about $5m short of room to sign Beal into space.

I think they're better not letting assets/salary slots walk away for nothing.

yeah dealing Smart can be in there too, just not sure what his value would be with 1 yr left on his deal and he is going to want top dollar in FA (he kinda got screwed hitting RFA in '18 after all the $ was spent in '16 and '17 last time)
