There’s a big difference between: Teams down 2 with little time left should generally take a good look for 3 instead of a 2

This Nuggets abomination of an end game where three guys, not just MPJ, sprinted to the line instead of going for a 99% dunk against a team they should crush wasn’t really that bad.
That play wasn’t a “strategy”. It was a scramble off a live ball rebound where no one knew what was going on the and game was going to end in 5 secs.
Edit: the fact that it’s hard to make a cross court pass with two guys running at you with 5 secs left could be a hint that maybe it’s not so sure that you can get an easy 45% three there
