When has he EVER been that guy? During his comeuppance maybe, but that was years ago. On a good team with a much better option and his "coach", he chose to dribble the air out of the ball and take contested pull-ups. Off ball he's a good cutter, yes, but you've got a crowded lane with Simmons/Embiid there.. And he's not nearly the spot-up shooter that RoCo is when you factor in Covington's level of difficulty on his shots.
I think a normal star would have problems fitting into Philly's system with Ben needing the ball at all times, but Jimmy seems like the worst possible outcome for that.
@Capone - They should have let their core marinate and see what they had. Nobody is winning **** this year with Toronto and GSW being so good, so take this year as, I don't know, one to develop Kelle like they were and going into the next two years with the ability to get to max cap-space just as their young stud core is improving.
