Which team that holds a top 10 player would voluntarily trade that player for what the Lakers gave? Zero.
Ingram was always an overrated asset. I don't think he can ever be a top 15 guy in the league and he is going to be overpaid starting next year. Not to mention his health concerns.
Lonzo is a better asset, IMO. If he can figure out his shot he will be very good. His defense and passing are going to be elite.
Hart is a guy who I would have tried to keep if I were the Lakers because they will have depth issues but he's not worth a ton.
The 4th pick is probably the best asset but it was the wrong year to have it. I liked how Griffin structured the swaps and option to defer the pick in 2024 because it will give him a long window to get a top 3 pick(s). It will also make it difficult for the Lakers to rebuild if things go to **** and control where they picks land.
The Pelicans have a ton of talent but as the Celtics showed the worst place you can be is having too many above average to good players and not enough elite players. I would have liked to see Griffin get more creative and try to turn Ingram into future unprotected 1sts for teams with terrible management. Like the Suns, Bulls.
They have too many guys who are about to be paid and it will be interesting to see if they can figure out a way to consolidate them. It looks like Griffin is going to try to be good quickly, because he's not very bright, and they will end up being the Portland Blazers where they are consistently very good but never have serious title equity.
