PPG is a pretty useless stat. Just about any nba player can play 35 minutes a game and take 20 shots and average 19 points a game. Had this argument at the poker table last year about Rudy Gay with someone.

How efficient is he? Does he rebound and pass well? Defense? Is he a ball stopper? Make the right play?

Watched a couple college games last year during all the hype and never got it. Been saying he sucks ever since. That move might be the death the hawks franchise. That seriously might haunt them and set them back 10 years.

Suns play at Denver Saturday and at golden state Monday. I'm sure those games will go just as well and ariza/Jackson/Warren will shoot at least 65% from 3 again.

I barely got to watch any NBA last night (lame) so I just have some blogboyish thoughts.

1) LOL Hornets 1-15 in games decided by 3 or less since 2016

2) Sabonis is by far the best center on the Pacers

3) Why is MCW playing 18 minutes in a real NBA game???

4) Derozan ONIONS!

5) Bagley and Giles playing 22 minutes combined is so Kings

6) Suns are still going to be terrible because they have no chance of stopping anyone and they're prob not gonna have another 3-point shooting game like that all year. But do they maybe actually have a good coach now?

Pacers bench has to be top 5 in the league. Team is so deep. Sabonis and Tyreke are dirty together.

What are your thoughts on Jackson? I've never liked him and I'm assuming his 7-11 performance was variance, but does his shot look better at all?

Booker/Ayton could be lots of fun, but it feels like their ceiling as a core is a team that wins 50+ every year and loses in the 2nd round. Do other people think they have more potential title equity than I do?
