And if you listen to Russell's slurpers Roberson was supposed to be trash like Adams, Oladipo and Sabonys. Because last year Russel was ALL ALONE to lift OKC to 47 wins

BTW Oladipo reached that 47 wins mark with 2 games left being the leader of his team,

Lol Russ not even close from a top 10 player

Yeah the Clipse healthy are a damn fine team imo. The haul they got for Blake's contract is Melo-esque. Similar with CP3, Lou is old but good and fun as hell, and Trez is like what we all wanted Kenneth Faried to be.

When the Nuggs are on form they are the most fun team to watch imo. Love me some Jokic and Barton.

Man I know DAJ is a good player, but I think they should start thinking about building around Trez. I've only watched like maybe four or five of his games, but I swear he has the touch of a Serb but with a ton more energy and athleticism.

Really? I don't see Trez as more than a rich mans Faried. Nice luxury to have off the bench but just not really a main piece for your starting lineup.

All he can do is score in an instant offense/high energy role.

Bradley and Beverly could help this team defensively a lot, but both have problems staying on the court.

They have an interesting team. They don't have 1 guy you would consider top 25 in the league but they probably have like 7-8 guys who are in the top 150. Teams like that are almost impossible to keep together and maximize the talent. Just too much has to go right. And again, way too many of their players are injury prone. And that's even with trading Blake Griffin!

They should hope Rivers opts out and maybe try to move Boban and then bring Bradley back.

PG - Teosidic, Beverly
SG - Bradley, Lou, Wallace
SF- Harris, Thornwell, Decker
PF - Gallo, Harrell
C- Jordan, whoever

That's a deep team on paper that seems to fit well. Although Doc's weakness is managing rotations and a team that has that little of a defined pecking order would probably make his brain explode. Also, the West is stacked now.

Port +5 @ SA is a curious line, wonder if they would try to get the 4 seed to get on Houston's side of the bracket rather than GS.

Otherwise they need to win to fend off Utah for the 3 seed

Nurk will probably make Aldridge wish he could join Kawhi on the sidelines

Dame is playing, did that change it at all? I don't see them losing this one with him.

nah been 5 all day

SA playing for their playoff lives while Portland's motivation is in question since 3 vs 4 seed doesn't seem like much difference is why I guess.

That's the closest I can see. Obv his gutting the Knicks on the way in was high echelon stupidity (on his part - but also on the Knicks's), but **** is still a stretch.

Yeah Melo's fine. Seems like a good dude, but he lacks self-awareness on the basketball court imo.

Yeah - totally this. But he even tried to drag it back a little in OKC according to the PR. His teammates always seem to like him and he appears to enjoy playing. Can't hate on the guy.

Here's some classic Melo, probably started my hatred for him. For a guy who seems to want to be known as tough he offers one of the most extreme displays of cowardice I've seen in an NBA confrontation. The sucker punch is pretty bad, but then observe the undeniable, pee-pants flight right afterwards. Notice how the Knicks players are holding their guy back from fighting, the Nuggets guy is holding Melo back from running away from the fight even more (maybe off the court if no one grabbed him).

Does anyone else see this guy by the Rockets bench just making his daughter stand the entire game? How does he get away with her not having a ticket.

Well I strongly dislike Melo and that's not going to change but I won't pollute the thread anymore with it.

I've always wondered what's going on with the seats at the scorers table. It seems like out of 20 people there, 18 are working/headphones on/announcers and then there's like one young couple next to them just as spectators.

Connaughton blatantly grabbing both Mills' and Ginobili's jerseys when he's guarding them, especially around screens. I guess he's seeing what he can get away with and it's a lot so far.
