I didn't think it looked that bad, but admittedly I wasn't trying to look at every angle after what happened the previous game.

I'm ok with giving one thread a trial run. We don't have as many posters as we used to, and if it deters to that we could always go back to game day threads. Maybe just try to eliminate the "LOOOOL ______" posts? idc either way

He did also say that in the moment it felt weirder (worse?) than a typical strain so maybe he does miss some time. Doesn't seem like it's a serious issue though 🙏🏾

Kawhi's traveling is "very tilting" because some guy did a youtube video on it, everyone does it, stay woke.
Btw, Smart fouls the **** out of Lebron on that travel, celtics/warriors fans itt seem less upset by that missed call

Very few do it to Kiwi's degree or as competently. It's very obvious it's something he has practiced and perfected.

This seems like a good suggestion. Hate scrolling through a page of ewws and grosses when Hayward breaks his leg, but all in one thread could lead to better overall discussion.

Lebron switched his pivot feet so many times, often for no reason. Super tilting. Is it hanging out with DWade again? I feel like the refs don't like being blatantly shown up like this and get out their frustration by calling phantom travels on Nemanda Bjelica.

There is no advantage to 1 thread. People like it just because they can talk about how high the TZ post count is. "Just skip a few pages every day" is obviously a worse solution than not clicking on the gameday thread as people could respond to stuff in the flow of discussion and that would be missed. Essentially the flow of discussion itt needs to stop every single day at the first tipoff.

Also, Bobby Portis sucker punched Mirotic and broke his jaw. Mirotic needs surgery and Portis might now be the starting 4.

A lot of people were calling it out before the video, I think KC was the leader but I could be wrong. Actually I'm just speculating because KC is the undisputed king of spotting uncalled violations.

The players had been talking trash to one another in practice, going back and forth before those exchanges escalated into a physical encounter, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Mirotic charged at Portis twice before Portis threw a punch and connected with Mirotic's face, league sources said. Mirotic dropped to the floor and lay there for several minutes before getting up, league sources said.

Doesnt seem like much of a sucker punch, unless you have some inside info. Guess any punch is out of line but from what little information has come out, seems like Mirotic escalated the whole thing.

i don't really understand all the comments about the "gruesome" Hayward video. i understand it's a serious injury (and possibly worse than the PG injury), but from a purely visual perspective it didn't seem gruesome at all to me.

the PG/Livingston injuries made me cringe, but the Hayward video looks like it could just be some dude with a flexible ankle chilling (if it weren't in the middle of a basketball game and he wasn't obviously in agony). i kept re-watching the video to see the gruesome part i missed.

IT2 is the king of the hop step travel. Cs fans gonna get so mad when he uses it against them if he’s not dead.

Re: TZ I agree 1 thread is worth a shot with the reduced traffic.

idk man. i'm not athletic or flexible and i can turn my left ankle outward at like a 75 degree angle without feeling discomfort, so it doesn't seem crazy that someone else could be flexible enough to turn it 90 degrees+.

obviously a terrible injury and i feel bad for Hayward. i just don't see what looks so bad in the video.

mild preference for 2 threads - if only to make time-efficient Binkles waste an extra 7 seconds a day opening them both - but no deep feelings.

the basketball thread/threads will have fewer posts than English football either way
