Not sure if anyone has heard of Zion Williamson - a junior in high school - but he has some equity to be the goat dunker. Guy has some half man half amazing in him.

Harden and Russell have fell off a cliff.

Just revisited MVP convo, LeBron keeps improving while everyone else not named IT declines.

Honestly if RWB wins MVP, we no longer can list it as a credible achievement. I realise Rose got but he was the best player on a contender atleast.

I have it LBJ>IT>Harden>>>RWB. Harden slipping though with his team.

IT should never be sniffing MVP consideration because he's a defensive sieve.

Flat eathers will most likely say Irving is on some kind of "psyop" to lead us "sheeple" into some direction that makes since in his mind to keep his conspiracys true.

Kyrie Irving:
Basketballs are Flat
« on: Today at 05:49:57 PM »
It's a common mistake that basketballs are round, when they are indeed flat. Using common core physics we can decipher the fact that a round basketball will not bounce, and that only a flat basketball will bounce up and down. While the basketball might appear round, this is definitely a misconception. Growing up believing that basketballs are round, has caused our brains to actually see and believe that they are round, when they are in fact flat.

Prob over rating him a bit, but I love the narrative of a 5'9 guy crushing. Iverson/Dirk/Nash were never good defensively either. It shouldn't be anyone but LeBron, but if Harden wins 55+ games, prob goes to him, if not, RWB. Which is freaking sad.

I’m a little guy — I’m only five-foot-eight — so unless you’re a huge basketball fan, you’re probably not going to recognize me around town. I’m not like Jared Sullinger ducking into the doorway of a restaurant. I blend in.
- Isaiah Thomas

I say if the Celtics ship the #1 seed, maybe give it to him.

32.2/8.6/9.9 on 60% TS% in his last 10 games (Harden).

I guess I concede on Harden a bit, but his team is 50% since the new year I believe.

Kawhi needs to be above Isaiah Thomas on any mvp ballot if you ask me.

Jimmer just scored 73 in a Chinese league game

OKC wins < 20 games without RWB. What are you even talking about?
02-19-2017 , 02:29 PM
The whole flat earth society is a joke, it was founded by intellectual trolls and people continue to troll on it. Maybe Kyrie saw their troll videos and became convinced, but there is also a good chance he decided to actually troll people with it too.

if by good you mean under 0.1% then I agree

This is an undeniable fact.

Kawhi should be getting more MVP love imo. LMA has not been that good, yet the Spurs are still crushing. I think its insanely close among the top 5, if forced to choose I'd go:

1. Durant
2. Kawhi
3. Lebron
4. Harden
5. Russ
02-19-2017 , 08:19 PM
I could never see giving Durant the MVP trophy.

The Warriors are winning LESS games this season than the last one. Pretty much proves that he's not the MVP.
02-19-2017 , 08:26 PM
Kawhi should be MVP but he obv has no chance.

more ringzzzzz

i kinda thought steph was outplaying durant the last 6 weeks (tho havent been looking super in depth on D)

im fine with anyone but westbrook or IT2 (tho few are taking that one seriously)

Is Pop unbelievably good at rotation staggering or is there some other explanation (group of explanations) for why the Spurs are only 2.5 points worse w/o Kawhi on the floor?

Feels like he, Isaiah (+3.1 on/off) and Harden (+4.6 on/off) are kinda overrated.

Obviously it's not simply sort-by-X, but when comparing them to LeBron/Durant/Curry/Westbrook, it's kinda striking how much the latter four's teams struggle without them.
