Id say 20% of playing at least one game in either League. Kid will be tall with good resources and some decent talent (preferably will get his or her talent from his Mom, not Dad)

i dont know but in basketball I cant think of any great sports families.

in football you got the mannings, baseball has the griffeys and bonds and some more i cant think of off the top of my head.

maybe its b/c in bball you teach a kid who develops skills from an unstructured setting and help them develop those skills into a structured setting. whereas in baseball and football its basically all structured. (you cant really develop skills in those sports by urself)

lmao

Yeah that was horrible shot selection by Kobe and then just a lack of a plan for the 2nd possession where Artest took a 3 with the clock winding down.

You think the World Champion Lakers would handle such situations better than that.

Lakers came out completely flat in the 4th, it's a shame as they could have beat the record for most wins to start a season.

well they needed 6 more after tonight so I don't know how good their shot was.

Home court is relevant in basketball for the same reasons as any other sport: increased comfort (w/ home, locker room, court, people) and fan support. Why would you think those are any more relevant in football than basketball?

This.

yeah wait why would u say football has 'crowd impact the game' but imply that it doesn't in nba

Refs are def more likely to give home teams close calls in all sports. I think thats the biggest thing.
11-12-2010 , 02:47 AM
kg 13 bounds he's isnt "back" because he is old but he's recovered and back on the normal decline slope of a player his caliber who keeps himself in great shape. jumper is money too.

UNDER!
11-12-2010 , 03:00 AM
Guess 20% was too high. Just remembered Jordans kid sucked. At least this kid will have height (Parkers a legit 6'4!)
11-12-2010 , 03:02 AM
Just got back from Pepsi Center.. few thoughts..

1) **** LA. Seriously, **** the Lakers.

2) I cannot wait for the future lineup with Ty running the point and Chauncey spotting up at the 2. I told my friends last year I expected to see this as they both age.. this lineup will be sweet.

3) lolkers

Btw as far as the "6'7 athletic guys" that the Heat could find, Gary Forbes is basically that guy. I think I mentioned Stanley Robinson in chat as another. I'd almost equate it with having a couple "special teamers". I was surprised they didn't hang on to DeSean Butler for similar reasons.

Jordan's kid played D-I ****ing hoops. I'm not sure you understand how good at basketball DI players are. The walk-ons are most likely the best guys not only on your HS team but in the conference, and that's if they were lucky/dedicated enough to make the team.

If it wasn't basically impossible to make a 20+ year prop bet, but I'd snap call the under on 1%.
