As a fan, I'm well aware of this. We're one of the elite teams because of him, but we will never win if that continues to be our offensive philosophy.

I mean they shot 35% from the field, if you think this is going to be par for the course for the Cavs, you're smoking crazier stuff than Victor
Cavs suck get over it. They're a bunch of has-beens, especially Labron

This just isn't true and I still don't know why the non-casual fan still thinks it.

Again, I'm aware. Which also makes me chuckle when Danny Ferry is called a "good GM". But theyre r so many pitiful GMs in the nba, I guess expectations are not that high.

Anyone know why my 2p2 has an all while background and look all cluster-****ed today? Figured I'd get the quickest response from here.

And seriously, the Knicks need to just never, ever play Jared Jeffries. Ever.

Just in case some of you didn't check out the Donaghy book thread, I have an excerpt from it:

It is also the best book I can remember reading in a long time. It will be a huge, HUGE scandal for the NBA if it goes to print and gets the publicity it deserves. The concern is that the NBA will throw a phalanx of lawyers at it before it goes to print.
Don't worry, I'm still gonna be around for another 2 months

i watched him but he didnt look all that impressive. good line for sure but he was def overshadowed by brook lopez's monster game. def was explosive at times though and should improve. really liked him out of college

Watch the last 5 minutes of the Cavs in a tight game and you will see this is very much the truth. I dont know how many times you need to hear Van Gundy, Jackson, Barkley, Hubie, Kenny, or any semi-competent nba analyst that has done a Cavs playoff game say it to believe it.

?

They go to the best player in the league in close games down the stretch? The Lakers do this often with Kobe, so he must be their whole offense too? OMG

And your list of competent analysts makes me question how much I should listen to what you're saying.

Notice the semi competent

All Im saying is, watch where kobe starts with the ball and where his teammates are and then watch lebron and tell me which is easier to defend.

yeah c vig, i agree with all of your points on the njn/wolves game. ellington is a better starter than damien wilkins, but even with that improvement, its just a glaring hole at the 2 and a smaller one at the 3 with ryan gomes and corey brewer.

it kind of sucks to watch them play because they dont have any skilled athletic players at either position. im excited to see how much klove improves and how much it helps al jefferson and the rest of the team. could be a very fast paced team when he comes back.

brook lopez was a monster, and his dominance def helped other people, mostly yi imo.

lol 4 out of 5 of the analysts he cites are dreadful "basketball anaylsts" but they are pretty funny commentators, just suck at basketball analysis.

Meh, I thought that the Candace Parker's brother and Jamario signings were good.

Starting a lineup of Mo, CPB, Jamario, Labron and Varejao would not only supply very stingent defense, but would allow for a more uptempo game with two good shooters and two guys who can finish around the basket (well 1.5, lol Varejao).

Come playoff time they'll also have 'Te and Powe, so the bench will have those two, Hickson, and whatever they can fish for Shaq and Z's expirings.

i wouldnt want labron starting anywhere else other than the middle of the floor. why would you want to restrict him to one side where it is easier to be trapped+ reduces the teammates he can distribute to?

I live in Ohio, I think I've missed a total of 4 games since lebron came into the league. Take anything I say with a grain of salt obviously, i have next to no posts on here so I could be a total moron. But I'm a devout cavs fan and a lover of bball. I just think that our offense is terrible and more than anything I fear LBJ leaving the Cavs. And i think eventually he's just gonna say "F this, i can't do everything. Surely I shouldn't always have to work this hard to score" and head to the Knicks, Nyets, or Clippers next year.

Guys so far the problem is simply Mike Brown doing ****ty rotations and playing the wrong players together. Hopefully he figurs it out. But unlikely

I think Corey Brewer will be OK this year.

The Love/Jefferson post tandem is truly scary and combine that with a potentially elite PG, it's going to be fun in MINN.

(Jumping MINN bandwagon BTW, now my #2 fav team behind Hawks, POR moves to #3)

Also, LBJ sucks at catch and shoot (I think) and it's pretty easy to take away options around the basket if you're playing competent defense (only Cav I see making the tough entry pass is, you guessed it, Labron). He needs the ball in his hands, but he also needs everyone on the floor to be able to shoot the ball or to be around the basket for an easy finish. And the big problem with the Cavs this season has been their inability to shoot the ball. Not really Shaq's problem, but he's fat anyways.
