Really pumped for this series, although I wish it was in the WCF

My enthusiasm is definitely curbed due to the injuries and whatnot but it'll still be great to see the new Nuggets playoff basketball

You were quoted right.

Basically the Nugs have had an almost identical PD to Chicago since the ASB at 11. They've played a slightly tougher schedule too! The next best post ASB team, the Thunder (ugh) with a +8 PD but an easier schedule.

Of course this would mean more if the Thunder didn't house the Nuggets in their last two meetings. Here's to hoping George Karl was tanking those games to pump the OKC egos.

Don't like the thread title at all. I find both these teams highly unlikeable. Rooting for Denver bc I'm a Lawson fanboy.

Afflalo is OUT for today's game. I think that kills the Nuggets chances....

I wish they'd let Nene and Kendrick actually go at it hockey-style.

Confrontation from 2 weeks ago.

Perk is all bark and no bite, Nene on the other hand, will throw down at a moment's notice.

Nuggs have to show their toughness... Afflalo being hurt sucks tho.

Haven't they been missing Affalo for most of this "historically great PD" run that they've been on? He's very good and it's a tough loss but nobody who thought Denver will win should really be switching based no that.

Well, lets see how the health situation really is.

Last week has seen Nene, Lawson, AA, Gallo, Mozgov all hurt.

Correct BF, but as Chim stated it's more of an injury bug attrition thing. They've missed SO many games in he past couple weeks.. Also Afflalo has historically been very good guarding Westbrook.

I think if Karl just let JR do his thing they'd be fine, but that' not likely to happen.

I can't find the Olawakandi interview after the fight, but it was pretty hilarious. It was something to the affect of "I just wanted to talk to him, and he started punching."

Seriously I have't been this excited for an NBA game in a really long time.

I dunno why. Maybe just the post trade immediate expectations were low, and this feels like we have a legit shot to make some noise. And because of expectations sorta feels like a freeroll.

But I'm really pumped.

Injuries:
Denver: Arron Afflalo (left hamstring) is out. Danilo Gallinari (right ankle sprain), Timofey Mozgov (left ankle/knee sprains), Ty Lawson (left ankle sprain), Raymond Felton (left ankle sprain), and Nene (left adductor/groin strain).

Oklahoma City: Andris Biedrins (left ankle sprain) and Acie Law (right wrist bone spurs) are both out.
