I think he probably is. But I don't think we have the full picture of what Lawson is (such a small sample as a leader and in this role), and more importantly.. I think its extremely close.

I mean they cant be exactly even. They do different things and might be better for their respective teams than the other one, but one of them has to be better than the other, even if its so slight that it doesnt matter.

I think we can all agree that Lawson is pretty awesome and was obviously great value at #18. I do, however, find it reasonable that he slid that far. Although now that we're talking about it, what was it that separated Curry's draft stock from that of Lawson?

don't think we know fully what curry is either, but we do know he's as efficient w/a much higher workload. everyone knows he can shoot but i think he is also an excellent passer. he just doesn't get to handle the ball/run the offense as much as he probably should. could argue that lawson is featured in the nuggs offense more than curry is in his despite shooting less b/c he has more reign
