Cleveland's roster is terrible. Kyrie/Lebron is an awful fit and the rest of that roster can't play.
this is where u get asked to put your $ where you mouth is

i'll give you 5:1 on them not making playoffs or evens on 6.5 playoff games won

Will have to see.

Cleveland's roster isn't terrible because they have LEBRON. Kyrie/Lebron might not be the greatest fit but it's probably better than the Wade/Lebron fit going forward or in general. They also have Wiggins and a chance to get Love. How is that a bad roster?

Mike Miller, who wasn't on the team last year, would be a good pickup. If they decided to pick up Ray, Battier, Coles, Chalmers, etc. then you might have a point.

They have what 3, top 30 assets in the NBA or at worst 3 of the top 50 including the arguable #1 (Lebron 1-3 range, Kyrie 20-40 range, Wiggins 10-20 range). If that's a bad roster, almost all teams other than OKC, LAC, Spurs have a bad roster.

They just need a few guys to be decent from TT, AV, Waiters, AB and they could be legit--worst case top 4 in the East, best case finals loser IMO. Hopefully they start drafting better so they have a sustainble team unlike the Heat who continually flubbed up the draft.

Maybe he really considered it, but I don't think he was going anywhere if you paid attention to what came out of Bosh's own mouth all year.
Yeah too bad Morey wasn't reading your internet posts psychoanalyzing a basketball player

Almost responded to this then saw the person who posted it

The fact that I'm an idiot is kind of the whole point. I knew he didn't want to go to Texas because he said he didn't want to go to Texas and he talked all year about being all in on Miami regardless if Lebron left. To act like he got unlucky seems generous.

Dont blame Morey , he didnt misread Bosh he knew he wanted to stay but i dont think he thought the Heat would give the 5 year max , The Heat were balking at giving Bosh 5/90 just a week ago .

@WojYahooNBA: Rockets, Bosh working out financial parameters built around roster of players that are coming and going now, sources tell Yahoo Sports.

This is really the only thing that could have changed. I don't think there is any other explanation given how much Woj was broadcasting Houston and Bosh getting a deal done. Have to assume Riley stepped in and gave the full max and it was reversed.

I think Bazemore has 11th man potential, & I think Thabo doesn't by the end of his contract.

Plus Bazemore waving a towel is more valuable than Thabo playing.

But I might have an irrational Thabo hate.

Additionally, the Cavs have a ton of draft assets which the Heat currently have little of. While I would have liked to see them try it again in Miami, I'm interested to see how the Cavs do either with or without Wiggins (with Love).

Huh? The Cavs still play in the East. How do you get out of my post that I said anything about making the playoffs? They could win more than 6.5 playoff games and not even get out of the 2nd round too fwiw...

I already offered 56.5 wins on them earlier itt with no one taking it. It is still open if you have a vouch that I would trust.

But it should have been obvious that they would give the full max if they didn't get LeBron and Houston was only an option if they didn't get LeBron. Hindsight is 20/20 and I don't blame Morey at all for going for Bosh, it was the right move, but we can still lol at Morey for being a pompous douchenerd.

Lol at people saying Kyrie isn't a sick fit with LeBron. Kyrie is gonna shoot like 43% from 3, be insane efficient, and never need to turnover.
07-12-2014 , 11:11 AM
Woj saying Utah matching the Hayward offer sheet.

So bold of you to offer a line that would have made them the 1 seed this season.

Wiggins has to be really hoping he doesn't get traded at this point. Much better spot for development getting to play and learn with LeBron and a smaller load than having to carry the hopes of a franchise in MN. Great spot to be with someone who has dealt with #1 hype and succeeded, and stayed motivated despite probably being able to coast to a long career solely on athleticism. The % of time he gets closer to his ceiling has to be a lot higher now.

It was in response to something along the lines of "Well, he led 2008 Cavs to 66 wins and that roster was worse" so I cut it by 10 and offered that number.

jaaash with some epic-level wanting itt.

I mean, you are offering 5-1 that a team currently 4-1 to win a title next year is going to miss the playoffs in the East. That, realistically, probably has a market in the range of like twice or triple that...

Yeah this is so good for his personality too. He will never be the focus of anything pretty much. He couldn't have boxed a better situation. If he gets traded to Minnesota he'll have way more pressure on him and have to deal with Bazz outplaying him in practice everyday. Will kill his confidence.

JAAASH- That the Cavs may be able to add Ray/Birdman/MM/etc so easily is a big reason why the Heat didn't have anything to offer Lebron. Every team can offer veteran minimum/room exception level money to random old dudes. The difference here is that if Ray goes to Cleveland, he'll be like the 4th string shooting guard instead of having to play 30 minutes a game chasing Danny Green around screens
