If your goal is to wait for Lebron to decline, I think you should want your young core to be in their third or fourth years, at least, by the time you think he is vulnerable, so they have matured enough to take over right away.

He's an expiring contract looking for a payday who is recovering from a torn labrum in his hip, an injury suffered by Martell Webster, Gerald Henderson, Johnny Flynn, Jordan Hill, and Lamarcus Aldridge. I'd think a team would want to wait and see how he recovers before making a deal that isn't some lowball offer.
