He's a guard averaging less than an assist a game, lied about his age for years, has negative WIM and appears to be a ****ty teammate. 52.8% TS is nothing to write home about either.

As a student, Holmes said, he found himself fascinated by the careful breeding of thoroughbreds, the way that two fast, powerful horses could be crossed to create an even faster, more powerful colt.

Around that time he met Faye Paige, a point guard, sprinter and hurdler at Cal State Long Beach. Spotting her at a summer league game, Holmes recalled saying to a friend: "See that No. 10? She's going to be my wife, and we're going to make some All-Americans."

I see more of Jeff Green in him.

dx has bazz' wingspan at 6'11 which is pretty huge for a guard. if he measures out well it'll be big for his draft stock, he prob looks great in workouts and interviews too

i think the top 10 ends up going something like:
nerlens
mclemore
oladipo
bazz
burke
bennet
porter
smart
zeller
olynyk

Really back and forth on this dude. I want to hate him but he seems to play mad which I like, and he's filled out substantially in the last year. So faking long. check out the change in his upper body from the eurocap '12 video below to the newer one above

if you have to compare him to USC wings, Derozan seems far more accurate.

bazz shot 40% from 3 this yr and didn't seem super athletic, derozan isn't a good comp iyam. statistically his college stats are similar to nick young's (except young's are better in his last yr) in that they never pass and have similar 2/3/ft attempt splits

i don't think there is a real good comp for him tbh, he's a pretty crafty scorer (and honestly he seems better offball sometimes) but the total lack of assists is pretty weird. he had a rep for being a good defender and has the tools so he should be ok at nba level, hard to see how his scoring game translates though. realistically i could see him being a defender/spacer/cutter. i have a hard time envisioning him as a big time creator, his vision is either very bad or he really really did give zero ****s about college ball. if that's the case then who knows

Worried about his explosiveness considering he averaged less than a block and a steal combined.

Would be pretty surprised if Len made it out of the top 10

i mean, dx has them at 6'4 and 6'6, if you're going to try to be a smart ass you should at least try to be right... and asseni was not talking about their measurables, im sure.

Mayo turned out to be MUCH smaller than advertised (we noted it that year at summer league before he shaved points to lose me a bet...) though is my point and Bazz looks legit 6'6-6'7 on the court. Further, Mayo was much more of a ball handler even in college (3.3 apg) and was a combo guard whereas Bazz is a pure wing scorer.

That said, the other thing to consider if you think Bazz is going to be a better pro than college player is lol Ben Howland.

He's major concern is that he's not rebounding well and that's a big problem if he wants to be a NBA player.

But he has sick upside his body, his speed he can really become strong on D both interior and pick&roll D. But I think he'll never be a very good rebounder so that prevent him to be elite denfensive player.

Offensively he might develop some post move, but he'll probably mainly be a lob pass receiver

This year he's having 8 pts -73% FG / 5 rbds / 2 blocks / 1 steal in 21 minutes that's not bad but he's not dominant in his team. His team sucks but they are good on defense.

I think he has more upside than many players announced around 7-14 pick and I'll probably gamble on him rather than a safer but less talented player

Could be 10-15 useful players itd.

McLemore was seriously afraid of the spotlight. Shame.

After Nerlens, think you gotta gamble it up with a PG and hope for a DAME.
